We got the gig but from what I was told, it's going to be a "slow burn" because CBS Sports is clearing out their old outdated tracks and slowly adding new tracks. Supposedly, they really dug my tracks and said there's a good chance they'd be used this upcoming season but the build was really for the 2016 season.

The same company had meetings with NBC Sports, which went extremely well, and the NFL Network. The NFL Network, surprisingly, is a tough nut to crack and there is interest in this library but no deal as of yet.

I've had lots of uses by the NFL on Fox in the past few years but only for commercial breakaways and intros, not highlights, which typically run for several minutes. If I happen to hear any tracks this season, I'll definitely give a heads up.

Eh, for those interested, I just received an email that said the track I wrote for a new Draft Kings spot last was chosen and should be airing soon. It's really dopey (80's rock with synth) but hey, I'll take it. :)

Not hammered right now but just right... got off at 4:30 today and went to the local hole, 4 vodka/cranberries and 1 regular Bud.

Came home, showered... then a Coors light and a few swigs of vodka, thats more than enough when the alarm rattles you up at 5am.

Love my buzz but it will NEVER interfere with my job or how well I do it.

My roll has slowed due to how busy work is. I'm an incredibly functioning alcoholic, err, drunk. I don't go to meetings. Lol

I was thinking of this thread earlier. I had an unexpected day off (after showing up to work) with the possibility of being off tomorrow as well. Had that been the case I was getting started early and letting everyone know about it in this thread. As it turns out I will be working tomorrow so I chose to get some things done around the house today instead.

Probably a poor decision on my part.
