Not exactly my point. If it were one person that effed up, and caused the whole thing to collapse, I would understand trying to single out anyone.

But the qb didn't play well, the offensive line didn't play well, there were drops missed assignments.

I never said that makes it better. It just is what it is.

Give Fisher a break folks. It's the 2nd preseason game. If he still looks like shit November, then it's totally justified.

I think we will see him build into a dominant RT this year. I think it's just going to take him a month or two (counting preseason) to get used to the NFL game.

I don't see anywhere in this thread where someone says we should just expect the 1.1 to be an average player. 2 preseason games aren't going to tell you shit about a rookie tackle. Are you brand ****ing new or something?

I said it.

In year 1, he needs to be an average to above average player.
Year 2 above average
Year 3,4 establishing himself as a top player at his position and challenging to be an all pro

We ARE giving him a break. We're saying he's far FAR from being considered a bust yet.

We're only saying that he looks like dogshit out there as a rookie. Which is true.

We should be worried about a left tackle that started on a top 5 rushing team almost every year and has only given up 4 sacks over the course of the last two seasons and all we should expect out of the first overall pick in the draft is an average player at a position of little relative importance" /stuff only said by full blown dumbass true fans that want nothing more than an average to below average team to watch while getting drunk and eating as much BBQ as they can fit in their faces on Sunday.

Albert may have given up 4 sacks in two years, but he missed 3 games last year to injury and the Chiefs had to have been in the bottom half of the league in pass attempts which would minimize opportunities to give up sacks. We also ran on 3rd and long over the last several years in order to coddle Matt Cassel which also reduces potential sacks given up. Albert's sack numbers will go up this year because he's going to have to do a lot more pass protection than he has in the past. That is, if he plays the entire season.

Yeah, week 8 of the regular season, sure.

Now if he goes out and plays dominant against the Steelers then what are people going to say? Its preseason. No game planning, they gave him no help.

Its too early to be making determinations about anyone.

He's going to get destroyed by Woodley.

It's quite clear this guy isn't ready for the NFL.
