Have they completely sold their soul to Deion?

Yeah, at this point he's going to threaten to sit out if he gets drafted so he can pick his situation.

The answer is 'yes, yes they have'.

They're trading short term relevance for institutional pride. But that's nothing new under the sun.

Hard to get too drunk on daddy's tit milk unless Deion is downing Hennessy at an alarming rate.

Even KU football embarrassed the guy last season. His physical ability isn’t nearly enough to make up for the other concerns and it’s hardly surprising NFL teams don’t want to deal with him.

ghak99 04-25-2025 09:29 PM

I wonder if he wishes he would have talked to some of those teams that weren't going to be in a position to draft him.

What I don't get is for as brash of a personality as Deion is, he's not stupid and he KNOWS how the NFL works.

He wants his kid to get drafted and yet he did abso****inglutely nothing to pull him aside and say, "The crusty owners and the crusty GMs they hire won't like it if you don't sell them on your work ethic and team centeredness."

Let him spend all that money he doesn't have on that ridiculous draft setup.

FloridaMan88 04-25-2025 10:26 PM

Deion can’t tell his son to be something he knows nothing about… humility.

The arrogant act worked for Deion because he had the talent that forced teams to deal with his bullshit.

His son doesn’t have that talent.

Deion probably views Shedeur like a younger version of himself. Deion was brash and showy. But he also wasn't a quarterback. And he was a clear-cut top-end physical talent. QB is a different gig with a different set of responsibilities.

UFL salaries for QB is around $400k per season, and the Memphis Showboats would have a perfect tie in.

I can't really hate on the guy. He played in a meaningless bowl game and he didn't have to. I absolutely despise guys who do that. You can get insurance for the game and the team will even pay for it. Sitting out is the definition of selfish. Shadeur didn't do that.

Shadeur had the worst offensive line in power 5 football. Put him on Alabama with the talent they have at every position and he would have produced more and been more efficient.

Milroe is a great athlete though. Then again so is Anthony Richardson who is an awful awful QB.

Watch Shit doors tape there's many times he had a clean pocket and didn't make the throw got sacked instead

Titty Meat 04-25-2025 11:44 PM

BTW I think there's an outside chance Kyle McCord is the 2nd best QB in this draft he was better at 2 schools than Dhedur was. Nobody is talking about how he's been snubbed

BlackOp 04-26-2025 12:09 AM

The guy literally built a shrine to himself and greed...should have read more mythology. This is the classic cautionary tale of hubris playing out.

He invented this situation for himself....not the other way around. It can only help him going forward...

Stryker 04-26-2025 12:20 AM

Really a thread for this sack of shit? **** Shedeur Sanders! Why do you think he is being passed over round after round after round? Because he is NOT what Deion claims his son is! Loving this!

New World Order 04-26-2025 12:35 AM

I don't see Cleveland taking him. I don't see LV taking him based on them wanting to just bring some stability to their franchise.

Who rolls the dice? I'm assuming either the Giants or maybe even the Cowboys

Stryker 04-26-2025 12:36 AM

Hmmm, Saints, Browns and Giants passed on him round after round after round. Must be something "NOT" there. I am loving this! :thumb:

I was actually watching a guy who said he thought that Brady Cook would get drafted before Sanders would.....I had to laugh at the thought of that being true.

I don't believe that Cook gets drafted although I could see someone signing him as an post draft pick up.
