The Philadelphia Eagles select Darius Alexander, DL, Toledo
|
Thought about Revel, then remembered Andy and Patrick relentless destroying the middle of the field in the slot to Juju and Hollywood again, and again, and again and then again for good measure.
Revel is nice but he seams better outside. Porter has size and amazing straight line and lateral agility. I feel good with that pick |

If I am reading this right, both of the Chiefs picks won’t see the field much this year unless injury happens, right?
Conerly is probably redshirted and Revel is CB4 coming off an ACL. I still like the picks though. |

NY Giants select Marcus Mbow, OG, Purdue.
Not an exciting pick, but the Giants need competition along the OL. |
Oh my. This came together perfectly for Duncan.
|
Revel was a great value, I probably would’ve taken him with the Giants pick.
Eagles doing Eagles things after already having the #1 DL makes my eyes roll, but it’s probably realistic. They just never stop going defensive trench, Ezeiruaku has every pass rush move in the book. |
In the interest of moving things along, I’ll try to be quick.
Still cackling about their latest victory in player personnel matters over the Bills, the Chiefs turn to their third pick. Veach picks up the phone and says: “do it!” On stage, the lights dim abd suddenly “I won’t do what you tell me” blares over the loud speakers. Stone Cold Chris Jones emerges from backstage, smashes two beers together over his head, and pours them over his head, trickling down his torso - which is bare save for a black leather vest. He walks up to the New York Giants representative and drops the Stunner on that poor soul before yanking the mic from the podium. “People are saying we’re done. I’m done. We’re done when I say we’re done. This next cat is going to be a great part of the sack nation of domination. “The Kansas City Chiefs select T.J. sanders, DT, South Carolina. “And that’s the bottom line, because Stone Cold said so.” |

Where is a dude going to see a ton of playing this year, other than the spot where I just picked? LB, and maybe RB? Just didn’t like the value I was getting at those spots relative to the draft spot and what was available at other positions? Still picks left to try to throw at those spots, that are better places to look for those positions, IMO. |

I don't fault you at all for opting for Revel. He'd be an insane value at 63. He probably isn't even coming close to falling there in the real deal. I think Veach would snap him up if he did as well. Let's him let Watson go next offseason without a thought. |

The Cleveland Browns select Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa St
Cleveland has Juedy then Tillman and that is it. Noel adds some speed to the O and some special teams spark. |

The Las Vegas Raiders select Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

He went early in round 2 to the Jets. |
I’m on the clock!!!
|
The Las Vegas Raiders select Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State
|
The New England Patriots select Josaiah Stewart, EDGE, Michigan
Adding Harold Landry in free agency was a good start but the Pats need to get more pressure on opposing QBs and should improve on Anfernee Jennings. Stewart is a relentless force off the edge and not talked about enough in this class as a 3-4 OLB. |

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
After taking Travis Hunter, I wasn't sure exactly which position he'd be playing for the Jags. After Harris fell into our laps, that decision just got a lot easier. Now Hunter can play CB full time while moonlighting at WR along with BTJ and Harris. Sick. |
I have a request -
Can someone please tell NotSure to quit loading up other AFC West teams with players that would fit in really well here in KC? TIA, and appreciated. |

The New Orleans Saints Select Cam Skattebo, RB, Arizona State

We’ll be back to drafting help for Caleb soon enough, but for now we go to the defense. You can never have enough pass rushers, and the value is solid here.
The Chicago Bears select Jordan Burch, Edge, Oregon |
Burch was on my short list at 66 and likely would've been my pick after Revel went at 63 had Sanders gone off to the Giants.
(Though the guy I'd have taken instead of Revel is still there; Revel was 2nd on my list -- I also forgot a very simple rule of the CP mock in making that decision though -- will so advise when he gets selected...) |

Warren Judkins Milum Burch Judkins is maybe a reach, but he likely doesn’t last too much longer knowing how this place feels about him. I love Milum to the Bears. Such an obvious Thuney replacement if he can’t play OT. |

I don't see him as any worse as a prospect than FAU was. We just overdrafted FAU. He's not necessarily developed more slowly than should've been expected -- we simply drafted him higher than he should've gone. Had he been an early 3rd round pick, this development arc he's on would've been more than reasonable. And that's similar to how I think we'll see Burch develop. |
The Jets will circle back for their TE and select Harold Fannin Jr, TE, Bowling Green.
|
Gimme a sec, will have mine in shortly!
|
Man, the Panthers truly need everything, CB, S, DI and LB.
Carolina Panthers select Chris Paul Jr, LB, Ole Miss I'm not sure he's the best guy left or even the position of most need, but I think he might have the best chance of making those around him better. |
Can someone edit the OP to add the C to Cam in Cam Skattebo? Just to reduce the chance someone else tries to take him
|
Seems like we stalled a bit here

Oh look, Billay ****ed up and forgot again.

The Cardinals, who have already addressed their two biggest needs, elect to go BPA since they need help everywhere. Think this guy slipped through the cracks a bit.
The Arizona Cardinals select Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky Will send pm shortly. |

Ok going to give Mecca a couple more hours.

I see that I'm coming up. I'll get my pick in later tonight (if I'm on the clock) or will send my preferences to someone before shutting down.

The Cincinnati Bengals select Kevin Winston Jr., S, Penn St.
|
The Seattle Seahawks select Jared Wilson, C, Georgia

When I passed on QB at 21, I was admittedly a bit nervous about how the board would fall. Regardless of whether or not Aaron Rodgers signs, I don’t think the Steelers go QB at 21. However, I do think they trade back into the first or early-to-mid 2nd and take one. I unfortunately can’t do that in this exercise - so I was beholden on a QB falling to me at 83. I got nervous when the 49ers took Dart, but am very comfortable with my pick below. I think the Steelers end up with Dart or Milroe. I’ve watched Shough in person multiple times and I don’t think he’s and NFL QB.
The Pittsburgh Steelers select Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama. |
