You can’t make this shit up. This team had the potential to be one of the greatest sports dynasties of all time, but they can’t stop pissing down their own legs.
I don’t even know what you do. Definitely need to keep both Hollywood and Juju, and going to have to sign another vet and draft one high. What a goddamn joke. Good luck, Veach, you’re gonna need it. |

Is there a talented WR with a few red flags we could grab early in this draft?

Veach tried to cover for Tyreek’s shit show in 2019 by taking Mecole, passing on Metcalf.
Now ironically he may have to cover for Worthy’s shit by trading for Metcalf. |

Resigning Hollywood is a must now. |
I wonder if before he said...
Is Xavier Worthy gonna hafta choke a bitch? |
Accusations are not always truth. I’ll hold my judgement until the actual truth comes out.
|
This looks pretty bad, but I'll wait to pass judgement on him until all the facts all come out.
Honestly, if it's true, he gets at a minimum gets a year suspension, and the Chiefs should decide if they really want to be associated with him. |

I'm sure he was just starting to choke and be like oh shit they said in that seminar to not be a piece of shit I better stop |

These guys are just straight up stupid. That’s all I know.

Exhibit A as to why I wanted Veach to take McConkey.

I’m usually the eternal optimist, but it feels like this is where things could unravel, at least in the short term. KC’s roster is already well behind PHI’s, and Clark is cheap and won’t play the void year game. It’s going to be an uphill battle to put together a good OL, and they’ll probably field a crap WR corps for a large part of next season. It’s also going to be a challenge to keep the defense at the same level, much less improve.

This team is ripe for a Super Bowl hangover. Between all the emotion and energy for three years leading up to an epic failure and no offensive line or receivers, the Chargers are probably finally winning this division.

At least all the CP law experts who have assessed the situation for *checks clock* almost two hours now were already well versed in Texas law from last year, so we know the information must be legit.

Nothing about Worthy suggested you should have seen this coming. Now Rice is a bit of a different story. |
You know who never does this type of shit? Offensive linemen.
Pay Ronnie Stanley, bring in speed at RB, sign Hollywood back, and the offense will be well ahead of last year regardless of Worthy’s availability. Hope and pray it’s not as bad as it could be, but 2022 showed that there are far more pressing matters for this offense than WR ceiling. |

Let’s be real here, if this was a family/household member, the family will likely try to talk them out of following through on the charges to keep from ruining his career and potential life changing wealth.
I hate that I have to root for that, but here we are. How pathetic. |

Worthy has a choke hold on the CP server as we speak.

Some guys just do stupid shit after they get money, hard to gauge that. Also the point it comes in at is so different than reality.
In alot of NFL circles being Terrell Owens, contentious with teammates, saying things publicly etc but never having legal issues...is considered way worse than the guy who is chummy in the locker then goes home and beats his wife. |
Time to draft Higgens or Noel from Iowa State I suppose.
|
Maybe his Dad rolled up to his crib after being absent from his life for 20 years and tried giving him route running tips. Xavier wasn't too happy about it because his father was disrespecting his WR coach Connor Embree, so he decided to choke him out.
Seems the most likely explanation. Innocent imo. |
This guy is a effing idiot to get himself in this situation. But idiots who are equating assault against a family or household member by impeding their breathing or circulation to attempted murder are also dumb as hell. There are sooo many different meanings to what this charge can actually mean. In all my experience with the law, I have personally never seen this get moved to an attempted murder charge. And with his money and attorneys, no way it will. Still dumb as shit though, and disappointing.

I won't lie, his dad showing up now that he's rich and famous did cross my mind. In fact that's the best case scenario here, right back to being a man of the people |

Let's hear from Worthy's camp.
Ok, so I'm an asst coCh of a 10u baseball team. Had a game tonight. I sorta sit off to the side and watch. I'm more of a practice coach. Anyhow, I notice a dad bitching at the head coach and cussing at an asst coach in front of the boys. He called a coach "shit for brains". Sooo, guy takes his kid and leaves the game in the 2nd inning. Calls coach a deuche? And I say " if you'd called me that, I'd be punchin your teeth in (. Building up biz). So guy comes back, gets in my face, I out him in a choke hold, and he gives. Takes his boy home. Sad deal. Soooo, I sent an email to aPologize for the whole thing , and the guy says he Ll believe I'm sincere if I send it to all the Parents. Reeally? What would y'all do? |
Starting to think Worthy is a victim and a hero here.
Early front runner for Walter Payton Man of the Year? |

These stupid ass idiots feel as though they are entitled to any & all things! |
One thing nobody is considering, the fact that it's a family member might be a good thing in terms of charges getting potentially dropped.
Happens all of the time. |
can we stop drafting reeruns

Why can’t the Chiefs draft guys with better character?
|
This is the guy who is going to be suspended for 8 games, not Rice.
Jesus Christ. And I'm drafting a WR high again because apparently they are all reeruns. Or I'm signing a FA vet who has their shit together. If I were the Chiefs after every season ends, I'd make these guys watch a video that shows Ray Rice, Kareem Hunt, Ruggs, and these two idiots and warn then that they are in the spotlight. People are out there just waiting to make them an example and ruin their careers if you **** up like this. |
Character counts.
What an asshole. |

Choking is a major, I SAY MAJOR concern of uncontrolled emotional anger! Put his ass in jail for a few months and keep his ass out of the NFL for a year! It's time the NFL started to make a serious mandate to penalizing players above and beyond what the law does! |
