WTF is this supposed to mean?

Wasn't able to watch the game, but it sounds like they got a staggering punch to the face early and never really got on track. However, in the past they lose this game. Now, they win it, although by a closer margin than we would have liked.

But clearly there's some work to be done. This level of play won't cut it against the big boys.

There is a lot to clean up & I'm worried about the secondary frankly but the team responded after getting punched in the mouth early by a quality opponent. This was a great win.

Brady Cook is what he is in terms of being a limited player but as long as he avoids turnovers the team can win.

Actually that early punch was really more of Mizzou extending the BC drive with 3rd down penalties.

Add a couple of missed penalties by the ACC officials that hurt MU.

As I posted earlier Mizzou did itself no favors with silly penalties (pointing the finger at Luther Burden).

Well you see, somehow beating a ranked team that will be contending for the ACC is bad because........

I don't know that I'd be too worried about the secondary. The things that beat us today weren't talent issues; they were mental mistakes within the scheme. Those will be fixed.

Both of the last 2 TD'S by Boston College were total brain farts by the DB peeking into the backfield instead of playing his responsibility.

Today was my first day ever attending a Mizzou game. Came in for family weekend since both my sons are students there now. Great atmosphere and experience.was definitely bracing for the worst at 14-3. Glad they pulled it out but I definitely have concerns!

It was a terrible win against a solid but unspectacular team. Mizzou busted their asses to lose that game. They did everything imagineable.

All told, it was embarrassing.

But in the playoff era, 'survive and advance' is the name of the game. They did that.

If we're lucky, they got a bit of a wake up call in the process.

This needs to be the last game they play with their heads THAT far up their asses. It was pretty unacceptable.

I thought Boston college looked like a damn solid squad. Have some beef up front and their qb can be dangerous. We played a shell on the dline to contain him and that led to receivers having time to get open. Didn’t play our best and beat a ranked team and it could’ve been by more if the mental aspect was there on two plays

The one photo I saw didn't look too dissimilar from Dak's injury. As long as he can avoid post-op complications, I would hope he'd be able to recover.
