This was a great pick. This is a pick for a 3 peat. Go Chiefs. |

I'm happy we drafted a WR but I feel like we fell in love with his 40 time. 40 time doesn't matter. Gauntlet time and shuttle does. He's going to be given the ball on quick throws behind the LOS alot though and be a dangerous threat.
I feel like you didn't need to trade up 4 spots when there were plenty of good WR options at #32 instead of #28 Falling in love with a guys 40 time is how you draft Mecole Hardman and John Ross. |
Sure would be nice if the 4.21 guy weighed 190lbs.
But then he wouldn’t be a 4.21 guy would he? |

You know a team that would benefit from Worthy? A team with a strong armed QB. Hopefully KC has a QB like that.
|
From what I saw, a lot of Bills fans wanted Worthy.
When it rains, it pours in Buffalo. LMAO |

Worthy will probably add on 10 pounds or so
|
Didn't worthy weigh closer to 170-175 during the season? Dude was hellbent on breaking the combine record and have to wonder if he cut some weight to do it. At 6'1" he's got plenty of frame to add weight and you know the Chiefs will impress upon the kid to take on more of an nfl body type. I trust our guys to figure it out
|
Rice being suspended might actually help Worthy get up to speed quicker.

Wow. OK definitely not my favourite WR option but man, can't really argue that it makes sense. We needed speed, we got it. Worst case scenario is he's killed by press and physical corners. Best case is...pretty fun.

Ok guys.. I'm on board.. Andy is like a mad scientist with these types of guys. The offense will evolve again to another level.. Bombs for TDs coming again from Mahomes..
|
Worthy’s broad jump is a foot more than mecole and his vertical is like 4-5 inches higher. That’s crazy.
|
After working out with Mahomes in Texas, Mahomes must have gave the thumbs up to Veach.

Seth Kayser was on HBTC before the draft and nailed it.
Only had BTJ in his group 1 In group 2, he had Xavier Worthy as 2A. LETS ****ING GO |

It will be interesting to see how this trade works out for both sides. I assume Buffalo will be grabbing a receiver with the #33 pick. They’ll be forever compared to each other. I can’t believe the Bills were willing to do any trade with the Chiefs.

Probably they'll try to get him to pick up a little weight, if possible. Really, I just hope he's a really smart football player. He's got a pretty big playbook to digest. If he has the brains and the intensity of focus, he'll be fine, most likely. If he's got a 10-cent head and gets distracted easily, his weight won't really matter anyway.
|
Only thing that makes me a little nervous is hand size playing for a team that drops way too many passes. But that's OK. It wasn't the toney or mecole drops that bothered me it was all the brain farts and it seems like worthy will be head and shoulders above those guys from a football iq perspective

I would have preferred Mitchell, but don't hate the Worthy pick - size is the obvious concern. Can't deny the speed, though, and with the new kickoff return, could be a real difference maker there. Seems like Andy wants a little 2018 redux, could be a return to the high-flying Chiefs offense.

I have praised Veach when he drafted the likes of McDuffie, Karlaftis and Cook. He drafts well in later rounds. But in the first and three times in the 2nd, he has whiffed on his picks. MEH FAU Speaks Hardman Moore I hate skinny receivers. Always have. They are injury prone and rarely pan out. What good is Worthy's talent if he can't stay healthy? |

We learned from rashee rice that dropped passes are forgivable as long as you just hit your damn spots. This offense will open you up if you just do that at the bare minimum. Even mahomes you can tell doesn't mind the drops nearly as much as WRs not being where they need to be.

Just gonna say…..
