Maybe Stroud is a rookie after all

Pepe Silvia 11-26-2023 03:02 PM

That sack ends the game.

tk13 11-26-2023 03:02 PM

Brutal sack when you just need a FG to tie for Houston.

I want us to go metallic, even if it's only a temporary thing.

Even the Jets green helmets look better that way

That sack ends the game?? Uh what… its literally only 2nd down

Metallic is awesome but I do love a good matte as well, like the Vikings new ones and the Jags old ones that were half-matte black.

JPH83 11-26-2023 03:04 PM

It'll be interesting to see if Stroud keeps getting better or has a slump next year. Looks pretty damn good and if improves again that's going to be a rivalry.

Rain Man 11-26-2023 03:05 PM

Rookie play. Patrick Mahomes wouldn't have taken a sack there.

If he could get sacked for another 30 yards so it doesn't **** with the Chiefs game, that would be cool, too.

Why Not? 11-26-2023 03:06 PM

Stroud would be unreal if he could do math

saturnknts 11-26-2023 03:06 PM

Should have been a horse tackle

Rain Man 11-26-2023 03:07 PM

Probably shouldn't take five seconds off the clock to fight for one extra yard there.

Easy 6 11-26-2023 03:07 PM

Pleeease don't let this go to OT...

neech 11-26-2023 03:08 PM

Amendola won’t make this

Why Not? 11-26-2023 03:08 PM

That's what you get from a rookie. Mahomes wins that game. Stroud has potential to be great but he's not there yet.

Gary Cooper 11-26-2023 03:08 PM

Stroud thinks he's playing Madden. They got too greedy there.

smithandrew051 11-26-2023 03:08 PM

Ammendola sucks. 0% chance he makes this.

Rain Man 11-26-2023 03:08 PM

Was it Ammendola or Wright who kicked the 59 yarder for us when Butker was hurt?

displacedinMN 11-26-2023 03:09 PM

holy shit what an almost kick

Rain Man 11-26-2023 03:09 PM

Did that hit the crossbar?

Yes it ended the game, changed the entire final drive.

PHOG 11-26-2023 03:09 PM

Hit the crossbar

neech 11-26-2023 03:09 PM

😂

tk13 11-26-2023 03:09 PM

Oh man. Just needed one more yard.

ChiliConCarnage 11-26-2023 03:09 PM

aww, great try

Hark Clunt 11-26-2023 03:10 PM

DOINK

tk13 11-26-2023 03:10 PM

He drilled that dead center too. Just needed one more yard.

Gary Cooper 11-26-2023 03:10 PM

LOL. Their kicker is stuck in 1990's distance. Every NFL kicker can do better nowadays.

Well, I'm wrong. He should have taken seven seconds to get another six inches.

RunKC 11-26-2023 03:10 PM

Remember when Butker was hurt last year and our kicker ****ed up badly?

Yeah that's the same guy that just ****ed the Texans

DaFace 11-26-2023 03:10 PM

You have to feel for Ammendola. Could have beaten his record by 10 yards and hit the crossbar.

displacedinMN 11-26-2023 03:10 PM

that crowd......all go into sad cobra at the same time

DRM08 11-26-2023 03:11 PM

Best kick of his life, but needed one more yard.

smithandrew051 11-26-2023 03:11 PM

Just shows you can’t take sacks like that on that type of a drive. Whether play calling or awareness, the Texans really ****ed that up.

smithandrew051 11-26-2023 03:13 PM

Ammendola has skipped a few too many leg days in favor of more upper body workouts. Came back to bite him.

Rain Man 11-26-2023 03:14 PM

Will Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason ever merge into one guy? They're completely interchangeable.

Yep. And it was a stupid decision to kick, doesn't matter that it was close. Rookie coach and QB on display there. Texans not quite ready yet. They move from division contender into the stew of WC hopefuls.

These days I think a 58-yard field goal is a better proposition than 4th and 12

ChiliConCarnage 11-26-2023 03:18 PM

Donkos score. They look less like shit

He kicked it perfectly and it still wasn’t enough. Just goes to show he CANT make that kick, which makes it a dumb decision to try. That’s like having Butker kick from 70. It might be close, but he’s not making it.

Texans had a better chance at a defensive penalty on 4th down than making that kick.

They play a shit schedule. We can't afford to lose the next two.

Drafting 8 instead of 24 doesn't matter much. They're going to start their trend down next season. The roster was going to peak last season and this season before cap issues start to eat away at it.

The Bengals aren't going to start trending down as long as Burrow is healthy.

The defense is ass for some reason this year. I mean absolute ass and the only big change is the safeties and the replacements aren't playing 'that' bad. Tackling has been atrocious.

The entire trick is going to be Burrow not getting dinged up all the damn time.

That...is a fact. This is the part of the season that all the injuries start piling up and they end the year with about 4 guys that started the season. Seen it too many times.

Stroud also needed to tuck and run on third down; he had 3-5 yards on a scramble.

Just a rookie moment or two there. He'll learn from it. He's a hell of a player.

notorious 11-26-2023 04:31 PM

Prater is 7-8 on 50+ FG's this year.

notorious 11-26-2023 04:32 PM

Nevermind. Card's got called for holding. LMAO

Pinchshot 11-26-2023 04:49 PM

I've never ever seen a penalty on the offense stop a 2nd kick try

MahomesMagic 11-26-2023 05:02 PM

Hurts fakes out his own RB on the RPO.

Fumble.

Eagles look bored after winning their Super Bowl last week.

notorious 11-26-2023 05:13 PM

Denver has had 4 out of the last 5 at home. The next 3 are on the road.

Were the schedule makers drunk?

tk13 11-26-2023 05:21 PM

Flipped over on the break and the Broncos just killed the Browns backup QB.

notorious 11-26-2023 05:28 PM

Browns just handed Denver the game. Denver has to have set a record for turnovers and unforced turnovers the last 4 weeks.

DRM08 11-26-2023 05:29 PM

Too bad Philly did not play this poorly against the Chiefs.

notorious 11-26-2023 05:29 PM

They literally get a turnover EVERY time they need one.

mr. tegu 11-26-2023 05:36 PM

Really need the Eagles to win this. Don’t want the Bills in the playoffs.

carcosa 11-26-2023 06:15 PM

Let's go Chargers 2nite!!!!

Easy 6 11-26-2023 06:16 PM

Oh wow, Bills @ Philly is barnburner

FloridaMan88 11-26-2023 06:19 PM

Ugly pass Hurts

Stinger 11-26-2023 06:19 PM

MVS'ed that potential interception

Chris Meck 11-26-2023 06:20 PM

Man, Hurts just chucks up prayer balls. Only sometimes it works, because he's got Brown and Smith.

Reminds me of Deshaun in Houston with Hopkins.

That doesn't tend to play for very long.

jerryaldini 11-26-2023 06:21 PM

Wow Philly run D gashed

DRM08 11-26-2023 06:23 PM

Philly defense blowing it

KC_Connection 11-26-2023 06:23 PM

Bills could actually run this clock out and win at the same time here.

Rain Man 11-26-2023 06:23 PM

Buffalo is making great use of Murray's senior discount defense card.

DrunkBassGuitar 11-26-2023 06:24 PM

Allen is due for one of his signature turnovers

Stinger 11-26-2023 06:24 PM

This is where Josh usually throws his INT.

I think the article also mentioned the Texans are campaigning to get that slot. They want a national game.

More likely Josh will run instead of throw in this situation

Left them a lot of time to get 3.
