Like I said before the last home underdog in the conference championship was Philly in 17 against Minnesota...Philly won 38-7...the Chiefs aren't normally in this role and this should be good.

I’ve got a feeling the Bengals are about to get humbled. They barely beat a Ravens team that was playing a backup QB, winning at Buffalo was impressive but if we’re being honest the Bills were a house of cards whose cracks had been showing for several weeks. The players are acting like they just won the Super Bowl. Eli Apple smoking a cigar like his overrated ass didn’t cost them a Super Bowl last year.

They also got a critical sack on Mahomes forcing the long missed FG. The game was close, but let's not pretend the Bungles got lucky. |

KC has to find a way to be sharper. Can't have 2 drives ending in fumble or missed field goal in the 4th quarter. Hopefully the defense with a strong home crowd behind them can do better than allowing 430 yards with only 1 punt for the Bengals offense. I would like to see Mahomes stay focused on picking up first downs instead of trying to force the deep shots. If it's 3rd and 5, throw it 6 yards instead of 30-40 yards. Keep the drives alive, which ultimately leads to KC points and also keeps the Cincy offense on the sidelines. |
Justin Reid sparked some fake outrage for the Bengals to rally around earlier this season when he tried (and failed) to say Hayden Hurst is not a physical tight end.
Looks like the Bengals are returning the favor. Hope our guys embrace it and stay focused. |

It’s coming…

So, I read that the Bunguls like to spread their right tackle out wide, making it harder for the DE to get around to the QB or shoot the gap between tackle and guard. When are we going to figure out how to counteract that?
|
Lol, let 'em. Let them talk all they want. Let Andy and Pat stick it up their ass on the field when they whip these guys on Sunday.
|
All the money coming in on Cincy, Bengals players talking smack all over the place, everyone saying we have no chance with Pat being hurt, 3 straight losses to them going in. Safe to say we haven't been underdogs to this extent in a very long time.
If we can't beat them with all this extra motivation, welp... |

Until they have more rings than us they should shut up. Nobody cares about wins. Only Championships. They can shut up about Burrow as well. He has no rings, No MVPs but does have a SB loss to a Rams team that just shit the bed the following year. They should be happy they finally beat the Browns.

No surprise noted dimwit BWillie doesn't understand being fired up during a game versus giving calculated interviews afterward. No one ever questioned that he's a 'competitive prick' on the field. That's very different from a me-first arrogant asshole. BWillie probably can't follow this though. |

I really hate that team with their stupid ****ing whining about things that didn't even happen. I hope we beat the **** out of them. I hope Eli Apple gives up 5 TDs and that dumb shit Joe Mixon fumbles every snap. |
If the Chiefs stomped the Bengals and lost the Super Bowl for whatever reasons, I would still be happy. The AFCC is the Super Bowl imo.
We have to get this monkey off our back, and shut up this incredibly cocky team and fanbase. |

Bengals at Bills in Divisional kicked off with Bills favored (-6)
The main reason the Bills got dominated was that Bills are not built to play on a snowy field compared to the Bengals. The betting line movement in the AFC Championship is also based on the idea that the Bengals dominated the Bills not just the Mahomes ankle sprain. Jags v. Chiefs was tied 7-7 when Mahomes sustained the injury. Jags had to kick FG and onside kick for a chance to tie and Chiefs won 27-20. This game will be played at Arrowhead on the amazing grass field with undersoil heating. I saw a tweet last week from Travis Hogan, head groundskeeper, and learned that they actually grow and mow that grass in January. That is amazing to grow grass outside in KC climate in January. My point is the Bengals were 6 point dogs at Bills and their offensive line injuries added points to that number. Just because those backups had no problems with the Bills defense in a snow game does not mean the Bengals OL cannot be had in a game played on a quality surface. Whodey is nobody this week apparently because the football world is completely giving no credit to how much the Bengals domination of the Bills depended on the snow and how that affected the game. |

A message to the Bengals fans and team on behalf of Chiefs Kingdom

Spoiler!

Bengals fans turned on Apple real quick after he lost the Super Bowl for them.
I’m hoping he gets torched again this week in a loss, so he’s remember as the guy who is the biggest reason the Bengals have 0 Lombardis instead of 2. Fans of other teams won’t need to shit talk him on social media. His own fanbase will turn on him again, and it’ll be glorious. |

They kind of already are. If you check the Bengals forum, there are more than a few that are sick of his shit and want him gone next season. A beating would seal the deal for everyone. |
I love it! Burrow is a damn good Quarterback. No ego, just a good player!
Patrick could learn a thing or two from Joe. :) |

I've actually met Mahomes and had drinks with him. And I've shared before that he's far, far more edgy in person than he ever is at a podium, which is no surprise to literally anyone. We all know that he's been coached up extremely well having grown up with a father as a professional athlete and now being in Chiefs organization under Andy Reid. The point is that there's a public persona and a private persona. The public persona is what you're putting out into the world that represents the team, organization, and city. And how you want people to view you. There is a very big difference being cocky behind close doors in private and going out of your way to be cocky in a press conference to the world. It speaks to "getting it" and the vibe you're deliberately putting out there. The guy who doesn't care if he's labeled like that is probably far more cocky than the guy who treads lightly. Mahomes has been class at every turn in these more scripted situations. Is he competitive on the field? Absolutely. But he's never said anything that's been remotely as me-me-me as those Burrow comments and the guy has actually won a SB and an MVP. So **** off white knighting Joe Burrow. |
they're 3-0 against us and beat us last year at home, they deserve to talk some shit.
it will just make our win on sunday all the better IMO |

All Im saying is everything anyone says publicly after thought and reflection is bullshit. Now that might make them smarter than other guys who are off the cuff, but you really dont know a person until you've lived with them or been friends with them for years. And I'm not white knighting Joe Burrow. I don't like the guy. He's smug. He's an asshole. I just find the entire idea of what someone says at a press conference to be the end all be all is routinely not who they are at all. Plenty of charismatic and charming fellas who would murder you in your sleep if they could. You can definitely see who people really are on the field. Ndamukong Suh, Grayson Allen...piece of dog shit. Dirty player. Lebron James...whiney bitch. Tom Brady....huge cheater. Luckily for Mahomes it's just fiery, great leadership stuff but make no mistake he knows how good he is. He's cocky, he's confident. He ****ing should be. OJ Simpson. Who didnt love OJ? In movies. Great at the podium. We all loved him. He's a ****ing psychopathic killer. |
There's a whole lot of projection going on in this thread.
That's all. That's my post. |
Frank Clark talks just as much shit as almost any of the Bengals players. It is what it is. They didn't say anything too bad.
Chiefs just need to use it as motivation and get to work. |

Why do the fans from other teams come here seeking validation for their QB?

This all started when I said Mahomes was a competitive prick and assassin on the field but has projected nothing but class off it. You then post some dumb gifs of him counting on his fingers, etc WHILE ON THE FIELD to indicate otherwise. It's like you refuse to follow the discussion or just don't have the means to do so. |

Nobody is claiming to know the guy closely. I spent about 45 with Gracie and Tavia. Do I know them closely now? Not a chance, but I know enough to see and say there were affable, gracious and kind. You can't fake that in an intimate setting. |

Second, the level of smack talk leading into this week in the press wouldn’t happen under Andy’s watch. We saw Justin reid do it and not only does it still piss me off (and it undoubtedly lit a fire in cincy we didn’t need) but Andy was stern as hell that it was not acceptable. Talk all the smack you want on the field though. Before the game let cincy run their mouth and use it as fuel to punch them in the junk when it matters |
If you listen to Travis kelces podcast, he had a tremendous segment talking about Andy Reid. He comes off as a players coach but man, Travis almost seemed scared of him. Basically said you do NOT want to set the big fella off. There’s a reason our guys always say the right things and don’t let their egos go out of control. Let it out on the field but Andy would not tolerate some of the cockiness we’re seeing out of cincy this week. We’ve had two guys, Peters and mathieu, who got out of hand and we made it clear we didn’t want that noise in the locker room

The only time I remember them doing this openly was with Derrick Henry. Several defensive players went on and on about how he can be tackled if tackled a certain way. For several players to give that kind of response (and considering we backed it the hell up) I sense Reid or spags gave them clearance to talk. But that’s not typical for an Andy Reid team |
