Hey thanks again for the Mahomes pick! Really, really really appreciate it!

They’re pretty low on the sacks list for a top D-line. My honest thinking is that Chiefs fans overrate the Colts because of how they’ve beaten them. Because the stats & facts don’t seem to mesh with how highly Chiefs fans think of them. |

How about this for a streak. Patrick Mahomes has scored 30+ points in EVERY.SINGLE.ONE of his playoff games. Better freaking bring it if you wanna beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead for a trip to the SB.

I noticed the moron didn’t respond to my post.

As for how Chiefs view the Colts, i can't speak for everyone else on CP. I know I'm not scared of IND, but we've seen them often enough in the last three seasons(?) to have a pretty good idea of what they bring defensively. They have a core of very good players, and a DC that is one of the better defensive minds in the game. They're pretty well coached and they have stars sprinkled throughout their front and at LB. But I think they're starting CB Ya-Sin is OUT for this game, which is a pretty big hole for them. |

Secondly, the Patriots won the championship in 2016 season, beating the Falcons in the Super Bowl which was played on February 5th, 2017. It helps if you know what the **** you are talking about when bringing your "facts" to this forum. Otherwise, you'll end up looking like a moron, which is now certainly the case. |

But yeah....it's ridiculous....and HEY! IS THAT A Josh Allen NO LOOK PASS?!?!?!? |

Their isn't one Chiefs fan that I know that doesn't scratch their head at how the Colts beat us.....nobody is overrating the Colts. Most are pretty pissed that we lost that game, even given the loads of injuries. Personally, I don't like using injuries as an excuse, so I don't say that.....we should have beaten them anyways.... |

No. Mahomes is behind Allen in MVP odds. |

Don't come in here pushing slow eyes Josh and dissing Mahomes because it just makes you look reeruned. BTW, it's not Chiefs fans who just came up with this on our own. Here is someone you might have heard of: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">"The arm & release of Marino....the escapeability & the field vision of Aaron Rodgers & the inventiveness of Favre......so you're talking rare company there" <br><br>- Bill Polian on Patrick Mahomes <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ChiefsKingdom?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#ChiefsKingdom</a> <a href="https://t.co/MAEBu25tWp">pic.twitter.com/MAEBu25tWp</a></p>— SiriusXM NFL Radio (@SiriusXMNFL) <a href="https://twitter.com/SiriusXMNFL/status/1047283034083524608?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 3, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

Mahomes is a shoo-in the the HOF right now, but not the GOAT. Being the GOAT is all about accomplishments, not physical abilities. That's why Brady is the GOAT and not Marino, in spite of the fact that as an actual passer, Marino was light-years beyond anything Brady could even dream of being. But Brady has the Rings and the other hardware, so he's the GOAT. It would take at a minimum another 5-7 seasons at Patrick's current level of play to have a shot at GOAT status. Call it three more Rings, two more SB MVPs, a couple more regular season MVPs, somewhere north of 45,000 yds, around 400 TDs/70 INTs . . . something like that would probably get it done. |

1. Literally his first post was about how all Chiefs fans were arrogant....and for us to be humble....imagine that, a Bills fan coming to a Chiefs board to tell us we need to be humble.... 2. Many, myself included, have tried to have actual football discussion (such as how the Bills match up with the Chiefs, what are the Bills going to do differently next time, etc.), and he literally keeps saying "past games are not indicators of the future", "we had injuries!", "chiefs will probably win....", and the infamous "Since Week 8, the bills are awesome!!!!!".....that's it....no Xs and Os, just posting dumb stats that only support the Bills are awesome and will win the Super Bowl.... 3. He spouts off that he's "been a member for 10 years..." as if he's part of the community, only to discover that he showed up 10 years when the Bills were good, posted a few times, then disappeared for 10 years, only to come back and pollute every post with his drivel.....and then acts like he's "somebody" here.... It's lame at best.... |
It's downright bizarre. On one hand he's clearly trying to troll but on the other he's desperately seeking validation and reassurance.

There are Chiefs fan who actually think Mahomes is the GOAT already. |

Because the reason bye teams make the Super Bowl is often because the teams that get the bye are the best teams in the conference. If the 6-10 Giants got a bye week, they wouldn’t make the super bowl. The bye isn’t a magic thing. It’s that they’re awarded to the best teams. |

There's plenty of HOF QBs that don't have just the first three things I listed there. And I'm not blue-skying the idea. The idea that Patrick is already a HOF candidate has been floated by the likes of Louis Riddick, Dan Orlovsky, Trey Wingo, Jim Rome, Mike Greenberg, etc., since winning LIV. The case could be made that Mahomes, between his accomplishments and his absurdly efficient production, has already made a place for himself in the HOF. In fact, it's already been made by some of those gentlemen I referred to above. I think that he could play three more seasons and not win another SB and easily be a first-ballot HOFer, if his production stayed right where it is. He'd have played 6 seasons, amassed over 30,000 yds, around 300 TDs vs. about 40-50 INTs. Skipping the ridiculous TD/INT ratio, which is better than any HOF QB that ever played, those numbers take most QBs about a decade to earn. And there's plenty of QBs that never threw 300 TDs, or 30,000 yds. |

Imagine being so manically obsessed with another team that you basically ignore the fact your team has a playoff game on Saturday (not against the Chiefs). And if you somehow win the Wild Card round game (which would be a first for your franchise since 1995), you then have to win a SECOND playoff game before you’d have a chance to face your daddy, the Chiefs. Bisquick’s 350 post obsession confirms we own him like a bitch.LMAO |
Quote:
There are many QB’s with 1 Super Bowl and good stats that are not in the Hall of Fame. It’s about sustained success. 3 more seasons (which you mentioned), then I agree. . |
Quote:

Quote:
Simple stats. |
Quote:
Then consider the consistency of his production. He's averaging more than 4,500 yards/season, averaging more than 38 TDs/season, just 8 INTs/season, a 38-8 W/L record, 6 4th Q comebacks, 7 game-winning drives, etc. And remember, he actually missed 3.75 games in his career. Had he actually played those games his TD total would be at least 120, or at least 40 TDs/season, a TD/INT ratio of over 5:1? That's a league record, btw. And we haven't even started talking about all those next gen stats people nowadays like to talk about. Like that he has the highest ANY/A number in league history. Or that he's likely to be the fastest to 15,000 yds. Fastest to 200 TDs. Et cetera and so on. the fact is, that Mahomes already has smashed a long list of NFL records in just three years as a starter, in spite of missing 3.75 games. Then add in the SB, MVP awards, the 5000/50, etc., and it's pretty clear that Mahomes right now if he retired after this season, would be almost a lock for a first-ballot HOF. Certainly he would be a HOFer at some point, just based on his stats and record-breaking career as it stands. Which is to say nothing of the eye test, which doesn't even need stats to prop up his claim to a jacket. He's the QB version of Barry Sanders. You don't need stats to see that the guy is unique, and uniquely gifted at his position. just watch him play. That's literally all anyone really needs to know. |
And didn't you see in my other post that this isn't my idea?

It’s nothing against Mahomes, I just don’t think ANY player would make the HOF after 3 years. |

Career (2017-2020): 14,152 yards, 114 TDs, 24 Ints, 108.7 QB rating Including one season of 5,000+ yards and 50 TDs. Only the second player EVER to do that. "Good" stats... ROFL |

Ravens/Titans is the one to watch for me! Game is set up to be so good. - Ravens win.
Bills Steelers Saints Seahawks Bucs |
I have a sneaky suspicion the Colts have a chance.
The Bills defense really struggles against a power run game. Josh Allen has been at his worst against cover 2 this year. Colts run a lot of cover 2. Those two things make me think the Colts could cause an upset. |

Go watch the Denver game. He's got it all figured out now. |
Lol Bills fan coming in here talking trash. Bills have never won a SB. First time making playoffs in God knows how long. Already lost to us and it wasnt a game Chiefs ever really were in a bad spot.
**** outta here w that shit. You got no room to tall trash at all. Playing well right now yes but you haven't done anything. You could lose tomorrow upsets happen in playoffs all the time. |
Quote:
Comparing the Colts to the Broncos, I would also say the Colts pass rush should make Allen's life much harder than the Broncos did. Not saying the Colts should be favorites or anything crazy, just saying I can see a chance of an upset. |

So what PA is saying is probably closer to the truth, at least offensively. Rivers is going to have to play a clean game, no turnovers, and he's going to have to be efficient, meaning his avg yds/att has to be at least league average (7yds/att) or better. Their run game should do a little better than their average, because BUF doesn't defend the run well, as we know. And their defense will have to play at least to their average. In their favor, BUF doesn't run the ball very well, so they shouldn't have to commit extra resources stopping that, and they can concentrate their players and scheme to stopping Allen. But if Rivers has a below-average game, nothing their defense does will matter that much. |
Quote:
For all of their investment on the line, they're not good run blockers. One of the best pass blocking units in the game but just mediocre at run blocking. Their running game is largely volume, not quality. |
Quote:
But whatever. Point is, they aren't that good at it. My hope is that for just a few plays they block pretty well and Taylor or that other RB get loose. If they get a little lucky and either break one off for a TD or just get inside the RZ, maybe they can steal a couple scores early. Then they have a better than even chance to steal that game. |

I just wanted to say “thank you” for all the fun debates we’ve had. You know your football and I’ve learned a few things by reading your posts that I didn’t know before. You’re one of the few posters on this forum that has been fair and courteous, even if they may disagree. This will be my past post on this forum, but I wish you a great year and much success. Goodbye. |

I hit on a three team parlay, with taking the Rams, Colts, and Browns and the points.
When I looked at that ticket on Saturday morning, I thought what a waste of money! |
Quote:
This week, I like the Browns at +9.5, just because I can see the Chiefs having a comfortable lead in the 4th and playing soft defense to let them back within 10. I also quite like the Ravens straight up to beat the Bills. |
Looking at some prop stuff. We’ll see what looks good in a couple days.

He's obviously in way over his head. |
So far I'm in on Rams +6.5, Bucs +3 and Chiefs $ line on one ticket
Gonna take the over on Cam Akers rushing yards and probably the under on Devante Adams receiving yards. Over on Brady 2.5 passing TD's Over on Mark Andrews anything |
The dicks lost 10k because of his Bills ROFL

Who are you betting on this weekend?
SVP just said he’s going heavy on the Browns.
I guess I’m missing something? What are all of these guys seeing that I’m not? I’ve never seen such little respect for a 14-1(not counting the Chargers game) team & also a team that has won 23/24 games. |
