Andy was the GM in Philly for quite a few years and he drafted damn good offensive players. Andy said Veach found Fletcher Cox and LeSean McCoy. We also know that he was the one who found Patrick Mahomes. Dorsey and Ballard proved they are excellent scouts with their owns drafts on a different team this season. I think we did so well drafting mostly bc we had an all star personnel staff. Looking back it’s crazy to think we had all of these guys together in one room. |

I'm sure they tried to do some due diligence on it, Hunt wasn't honest, it was he-said-she-said, and they hoped it would be buried going forward. What do you think the Chiefs realistically could've done at that point? |
LMAO. He's a RB. For ****s sake, fatass CJ Anderson stepped in for the best RB in football and performed damn near as well. Damien Williams did the same thing here and James Connor did it in Pittsburgh. Like, it sucks that the stupidity of Kareem Hunt cost him his job here but this caterwauling is ridiculous.
|
Yeah, Veach may have "found" Mahomes, but Dorsey was the one who ultimately pulled off the trade and drafted him. Being a good GM means listening to your scouts.

Surely they could have traded him for a first or second rounder, ami right? |

They already had a really good HB. I think Chubb finished the season 2nd in the NFL in yards after contact (yes, I know he only started like 9 games.) |

Bill traded a top 3 pass rusher in the NFL because he showed up naked and high at a police station.

I know they have a lot of money for the next 2 years, but holy shit. Dorsey’s terrible finance management has (unsurpringly) followed him to Cleveland. |

Better than going to the broncos.

He was a good young player here. It sucks.
But they cut him midseason, threw in a few guys they had on the roster there and were a Dee Ford offsides from going to the SB. I'm guessing they disagree on just how important he was/is to the success of the team. |

So let's take us back to a year ago when his actually happened. Some allegations against Kareem. Unproven. It's Kareem's word and those of his friends versus the word of some girl who by most accounts was likely intoxicated. Presumably they have the body camera footage as well. You're saying the Chiefs would've been right to suspend him on that basis? Does that sound like it would've been justified at the time? How many of you would've been bitching about his suspension owing to that information set? How much would CP have likely melted down when we might've lost the opener to the Chargers? Or the game at Denver? So - you still think they should've suspended him at the time? Yes, if they had perfect foresight that a tape would come out and have that look, and if suspending him to start the season was the way the Chiefs could plausibly retain Hunt in the future, then we can all agree that maybe it would've been the right call at the time. (Though very possible we don't win the AFC West, don't win a home playoff game, and still would've possibly released Hunt given public pressure.) |
ROFL ROFL "We had to release Hunt b/c the media would hurt Hill's fee fees by blowing things out of proportion like they always do!" ROFL ROFL

A week or two?? Do yourself a favor and go peruse Twitter right now about Kareem Hunt. It's been more than two weeks. Have people forgotten? |

If we wouldn’t have, the story would’ve continued because the outrage community wouldn’t have let it go. Are you really this ****ing stupid? |

The Chiefs didn't give a shit what he did in the video. They didn't trust him anymore.

Unless you think that suspending Hunt after the tape was released after he was put on the commissioner's exemption list is getting out ahead of things? :hmmm: |

I mean, the Chiefs can't imagine that. |

There's a little more to this than what happens on Sunday from 12-3 i'd imagine, no? |
I wish we'd have gotten a larger sample-size as to what we have in Darrel W. I know most of you aren't concerned about RB - but you better do at least one move to add one. I don't think Ware will be here. I don't agree w/ most's take on this matter.

The problem with the AFCCG IMO was Reid’s absolute failure in gameplanning the OL assignments to deal with the stunts. That wouldn’t have changed with Hunt running into brick walls. The only difference he could have made in that ghastly first half would be if he caught something in the open field or got loose on a stretch play and to my recolllection we didn’t get much there. Hunt is better than Williams no doubt but the loss in the AFCCG was on Reid, not our stable of RBs. |

Any chance some of you guys are hiring?
I'm looking for a job where I can lie directly to my boss about a series of violent incidents but keep my job because I'm a high performer. I had this other job recently where I got fired for - well - getting a little physical with a female, and I'm totally the victim here and everyone I know is now blaming my boss. |
Imagine being so ****ing stupid that you STILL don’t understand why the Chiefs had to trade Peters and cut Hunt.
Pitt Gorilla is such a ****ing idiot |
& frankly Darrel may be the answer. Def. not trying to overlook him.

We've seen his production replaced. We haven't seen the big plays in the same fashion as Hunt, but they're there. They're just different. Let some other team get forced into paying him. And i say this as a Kareem Hunt fan, and grudgingly wish him the best in Brown Town. |
Kareem Hunt can stay on his feet. That's his superpower. It's a great power, but not the only one.
For instance, if the Chiefs were to draft a RB with scorching speed that would be a tool that would be useful in my opinion. |

The Raiders/Bengals model very rarely results in sustained success in the NFL and bad apples ruin barrels, which the whole league understands except fans of teams that haven't gotten over the hump in the past. |
