Did you CC Brooke Pryor? Personally I’d like nothing more than wall of sports from politics but the left refuses to do that. |

Well this thread bump worked out wonderfully.

Thanks again, DaFace!

Even if the political statements apply to the topic and discussion at hand you will still get booted as I was from 2 threads yesterday. Oh well.......... |
Such tender ears now days. With kids now who haven't stepped away from a video game more than 5 minutes its probably a shock to hear things they don't like. Its always the pale opaq kids with vitamin B1 and D deficiencies that cant handle different views.

Congratulations! Apparently that's supposed to compare with the disrespectful hordes who won't do it now, and make complete asses of themselves in the process to the gleeful adoration of the media. Keep digging, sweetheart. Perhaps out of the thousands of people who were invited in the past, you might find three or four more. God knows you've got nothing better to do. |

But the politics of the day have a way of oozing into every aspect of our lives, including, sadly, the Chiefs, and it is certainly by design. I don't like it anymore than you do. Christ, half the people who voted in that initial poll about Hill wanted him immediately fired from the team, and they were for the most part Jedi-mind tricked into having that opinion by the very same wretched, dishonest tactics that are used to destroy politicians. When that crap is aimed at Trump, it's discussed in DC. When it's aimed at Hill, it's kind of hard not to discuss it here. You can tap dance around it, but that's the truth. |

There's more, but here's some... Fatzod: Besides those, and the others you won't supply to me, there's none! |

I mean the rule of being banned from a thread for it—not the general rule of politics goes in DC and not the Lounge. |

EDIT: I now know why. Because it was added yesterday per a Bearcat post. |

It's the Trump supporters that bring politics into everything.

The Kaepernick thread is exempt from this analysis. As are the kneeling ones. Those never stood a chance and should have been moved to DC immediately. Mods are partly responsible because they allow clearly political topics, sports related or not, to stay in the lounge. End result = Politics in the lounge. There's a forum for that here. |

We should adhere to daface's request. |

Your thought masters are the ones who are lighting the fires. And now we're supposed to pretend that the house isn't burning? Give me a ****ing break. The same people who are pissing and moaning about politics in the Lounge prop up the assholes who brought it here in the first place. If you're looking for someone to blame, check the nearest mirror. |

Some things never change.

There has been a rise in political comments in non political threads in the lounge that get swerved. 99% of these political comments inside a thread in the lounge are started from Trump supporters trying to get a rise out of the woke, virtue signaling snowflakes. And then the other side takes the bait. And we have politics in the lounge, in threads that are in no way political.

Also, although I think you’re a great guy, I question your objectivity on this topic. |
LMAO
"Or if you do, please make sure your comments lean left as to not offend my delicate sensibilities". Don't even bother, I'll show MYSELF out. |

A faction of the left has taken the mantra that the personal is the political. They reason that you progress politically by politicizing every aspect of life. If you want to rouse the disconnected, point out the political aspects of the things they are connected with. Is TV racist? Is sports sexist? Is the food you eat bigoted? Is your footwear exploitative? Is your air conditioning gendered? etc. etc. Smartly, for them. They present it as mere 'food for thought.' But it's intended as rhetoric to be consumed without thinking. Therefore if anyone points out the flaws in the reasoning, the sparks start flying and everyone THEN starts complaining about politicization. I'm all for autonomy, let people make their own decisions about what is best for them. But if there is an effort to bind personal decisions up in political rhetoric, I'm going to be there with a critical eye. In those cases, it is eminently relevant 'who started it.' Those who DIDN'T start it, aren't the ones lecturing you on your personal decisions, yet they get painted as the politicizers when they push back on people who are. |

"Political" needs to be defined.
Is "God Bless America" a political statement? For example: Tyreek Hill will not be suspended! God Bless America that the principal of due process still exists or else he would have been banished from the NFL solely on the howling and gnashing of teeth by the hyenas in the "woke media". |

I'm bumping this again because there are still a few people that are not connecting the dots. Repeat offenders are going to get dropped into the romper room for an extended visit with Ubeja Vontell. Keep the DC bullshit in DC.
