Looks like they are both about even overall. Each has his own strengths and weaknesses

He's Kyle Orton part II.

Its tough to bench Smith, he hasnt played bad. Its hard to say whos better than who, but
I do think Foles makes the O a little more dangerous to face. Im in the camp that Foles may lower the floor a bit for the Chiefs on his bad days, but he also raises the ceiling. I think its hard to argue against that. Basically if you feel this team can go all the way with Smith, stick with Smith. If not then Foles the choice. Its similar to the Smith/Keapernick swap back in SF. Except Foles is a much better QB than Kap. So was Smith, but I think Harbaugh and staff felt they had reached the ceiling with Smith, and figured it was worth the gamble on Kaps potential. It almost worked. |

Foles is going to win you games by himself. Smith will never do that.

This team is unbelievably more fun to watch with Foles.

Just said the same thing. |

With a week of practice with the ones Foles should improve even more for the next game. Defenses will have to play us honest.

Do you know something more than NFL coaches and GM's? A few good passes against a bad team doesn't qualify as starter level quality |

You guys are ****ing crazy if you think at this point in their careers Smith isn't better than Foles.

All aboard the FOLES TRAIN!!!!!!!

yea you don't replace a QB who has the 3rd best record over the last 5 years with a guy that two teams gave up on.
Thankfully Reid is the guy making 7 figures and those people making 5 figures aren't calling the shots. |
I'm gay for Nickay.

Smith -> 3rd winningest QB since. This is why people view you as having very little intellectual value. And by little, I'm being quite generous. |
Smith ball washers are going to be in full defense mode all week. It's going to be a fun one.

Still no

Alex better hope he can play next week. Nick Dynamite is going to stir up a controversy here pretty quick. He's got a much more live arm than Alex does.

couldn't happened to a worse bunch of fan's I wish to god smith ballwashers would go find some other team with a mediocre QB to root for there is plenty to choose from. |

Foles and Smith are about the same level of QB.
Different but similar level Since Alex Smith is no longer using his legs, we might as well roll with Foles for awhile |

Foles over Smith is a much easier and better decision than Kaepernick over Smith was.

gotta admit, it is nice to see the Receivers and Tight Ends more involved when your QB has a live arm

I'm not a Smith hater. I'm not a fan. Wasn't a fan of the trade and I'd love to see another qb leading the chiefs. He limits the offense. |

People like you are no different than this blackbob guy you complain about nonstop. shut the **** up and watch the game instead of always trying to start a fight with someone you don't like dickhead |
Foles made a case for himself, no doubt. Can't believe Andy called that option play for Alex.. poor bastard. Might be done for good, regardless.
We'll see where it goes. |

There are definitely things Foles does that you like after watching Smith for a couple years, such as the fact that Foles was throwing deep going for the TD in the 4th quarter after we were up by 10... Normally this offense is in run out the clock mode in that situation. Whether or not Foles is actually better or not than Smith at this point, its hard to say.
I'm sure Smith will be starting next week if he's healthy. If he has to miss a few weeks, then things could get interesting if Foles continues to play well. |

A ton of established viable QB's would struggle in that sitch...no offense. |

I like his deep ball but for Christ sakes does he execute small and intermediate passes poorly

The Rams offense is shit because Fisher believes in being a run oriented team without completely making the offense based on it (i.e:Having a legit fullback instead of a blocking TE). Austin, Britt, Kendricks, etc. are weapons that Foles had at his disposal to go along with Gurley. Quote:

Whoever starts, we'll be fine. They both have strengths and weaknesses that equal out.

Then when I went to take a piss, found the same hairy coke bottle glasses wearing dipshit , wearing a 19 chiefs jersey with LAZ taped on it with white duct tape jacking off in the bathroom mumbling about Foles 'going deep' |

I'm not completely on the Foles bandwagon, his style of play has some obvious drawbacks. I'm sure after Foles inevatibly throws an interception there would be a lot of fans calling for Alex to come back. I'm glad he looked good today, though. |
