I totally get that starting is a different animal, but it just seems like a waste to run Duffy out there like that if he's pitching well. Guess it depends on what happens to Hoch. I agree I don't think they'll do it. But it'd be nice to develop a starter at some point.

Yeah... the reality is it's hard to sustain a World Series run over three straight years, but this is a pretty similar team and there's 5 months to go in the season. As long as they hang around above .500... plenty of time to make a run at the end of the year. And this team knows how to do that. Odds are we weren't going to run away with the division again this year. That's rare.

I was at the game last night watching from the Pepsi Porch and he definitely midplayed that ball on the double from Zimmerman. He took 2 steps in before going back which let it sail over his head.

They may have scored 1 in that inning anyway but that also may not have. Not that it mattered in the end anyway after another goose egg.
