Be a good time to drill Choo in the back, just because

GloryDayz 06-05-2015 07:32 PM

So is this one of the ****ers who were spying on the U.S.?

Al Bundy 06-05-2015 07:32 PM

Ned is a lying asshole when he says they aren't pressing.

jimidollar 06-05-2015 07:32 PM

I just read in Sports Illustrated last week that the Royals weren't a fluke. Journalism gone wild.

Maybe a brawl will wake them up.

C3HIEF3S 06-05-2015 07:33 PM

Royals are da worst team in the world!

baitism 06-05-2015 07:33 PM

I see so many people near the field not paying attention to the game. I am honestly surprised more fans don't get hurt. You really have to not be paying attention to get hit by a bat.

no, in fact last nights loss indicated a move down to +8...we break that and well..lets not discuss it

MeatRock 06-05-2015 07:33 PM

These mother****ers might as well be swinging a sledgehammer at the plate.

I agree. Most fans go to the game to enjoy themselves, hang out with friends/family, and have a few beers. I'm sure they know that foul balls are a part of the game, especially down the lines, but I doubt it's something they're going to be paranoid about. At least until something happens.

Survival of the fittest, Darwinism at its finest, if you die from a flying bat in a baseball game you deserve to die honestly

LMAO

We are one game out of first place... in june... to a team who isn't going to sustain their success.
Stop, people. Christ.

Captain Obvious 06-05-2015 07:39 PM

It's one thing to see them swinging at pitches they can do something with and the ball doesn't find a hole. It's another to see them constantly swinging at pitches they can't do anything with. That's what is happening.

I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm. Regardless, these hitters need to figure out what got them to the 7th game of the world series and the best record in the AL for the first 2 months. This is exactly the offense I was afraid of popping up.

petegz28 06-05-2015 07:40 PM

can't square up anything

petegz28 06-05-2015 07:41 PM

holy shit...a hit....

baitism 06-05-2015 07:42 PM

I am surprised Salvy is asking for more money the way he is hitting.

kstater 06-05-2015 07:42 PM

In other news, a skunk is loose in the Cardinals dugout.

ChiefsCountry 06-05-2015 07:43 PM

We are close to breaking out him.

Three7s 06-05-2015 07:43 PM

I love how nuts the stadium gets for one freaking hit. Must not have seen too much of those tonight.

petegz28 06-05-2015 07:44 PM

****ing twins come back from 5-0 to tie it at 5. yesterday the came back from 4-0 to win 8-4

baitism 06-05-2015 07:45 PM

They will come back to Earth, eventually. The question is whether the Royals will ever get back off of Earth.

C3HIEF3S 06-05-2015 07:47 PM

Let the CP meltdown ensue

petegz28 06-05-2015 07:47 PM

game over...twins will win, detroit will win..

baitism 06-05-2015 07:48 PM

Sad thing is, it will take being at least 5 games back for Yost to make any changes, maybe 10 games.

Stanley Nickels 06-05-2015 07:48 PM

Volquez cannot consistently make it through six innings without a breakdown; after five, it's a total crapshoot

Dartgod 06-05-2015 07:48 PM

Bats, they are sick. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, rum. He will come.

MeatRock 06-05-2015 07:48 PM

Chi Chi putting clown shoes on our entire lineup.

Al Bundy 06-05-2015 07:48 PM

Moreland's home run was impressive. Opposite field at Kauffman is one hell of a homer.

He has done well enough to be on the hook for a win. If we weren't facing Cy Cy Rodriguez....

He's given up 2 runs on 4 hits

siberian khatru 06-05-2015 07:50 PM

This hitting slump is just excruciating.

baitism 06-05-2015 07:51 PM

Other teams doing what we should be doing.

petegz28 06-05-2015 07:53 PM

gee...another stolen base..followed up by a fluke hit

Three7s 06-05-2015 07:53 PM

I'm not blaming the pitching for any of these losses other than Guthrie's meltdown against the Yankees. The offense might as well come up without any bats and just take their strikeouts and go back to the dugout.

baitism 06-05-2015 07:53 PM

Pussy throw by Omar.

MeatRock 06-05-2015 07:54 PM

Gotta glove that shit Volquez. ****!!

petegz28 06-05-2015 07:55 PM

And another stolen base...

MeatRock 06-05-2015 07:55 PM

Won't even hold the ****ing guy at first for a potential double play. LMAO

C3HIEF3S 06-05-2015 07:55 PM

Blankey 06-05-2015 07:55 PM

jesus this team is a mess right now

petegz28 06-05-2015 07:55 PM

Yep...we suck again

ChiTown 06-05-2015 07:55 PM

I'm asking because I don't recall, but when is the last time Salvy has thrown out a runner?

baitism 06-05-2015 07:55 PM

Welp. I'm out.

stonedstooge 06-05-2015 07:56 PM

DAMMIT. Salvy playing to far away again

Al Bundy 06-05-2015 07:56 PM

That'll do it boys... this team simply can't score 5 runs off of Cy Cy Rodriguez...

Why Not? 06-05-2015 07:56 PM

And that's game. I'm sure everyone's right. I'm sure the Twins will regress. We'll be 8 back and settled into the chase for the 2nd WC by the time that happens.

I mean, I guess I assume it has at least once in history...but I don't recall ever seeing it actually happen.

It's not Salvy tonight. Volquez is ****ing lazy keeping runners in check.

It's possible. But remember we were 8 games back in late July last year. That's not what you want to strive for but the standings can change wildly from month to month even. Most of the teams in 1st place at this point last year didn't even make the playoffs.

It's not a bunch of homer-ish rah rah stuff. Baseball is a 162 game season and you are going to go through every possible up and down most likely, even if you're a good team. This could be the beginning of a slide that ends with us in 4th place. It could be a blip on a 1st place season. We simply don't know.

They are getting like 4 to 5 steps before he even throws the damn ball

I think this is 7/9? I'll give it this weekend. If we get swept by the Rangers, gonna have to have a closed meeting. All the "oh it's just a slump" people can continue saying it. I don't really care.
