damn man....how many different shows they gonna throw out there for all these super hero folks!?

Just finished watching. What a great cast. What a great story. Kick ass weapons and fight scenes. I'll watch as many of these Netflix Marvel shows as they can crank out. I've always loved the street level heroes more than the demi-god blockbuster stars, and I like the format of the television series to tell a deeper story.

Netflix nailed it again.

Yeah I was wondering how they were going to top the hallway fight scene from season 1, this one did that and so much more, especially utilizing the chain and the set of circumstances Punisher put him into to begin that fight was pretty awesome.

They keep dropping hints for Gladiator.

I enjoyed the whole season. I wasn't really looking forward to a Punisher show at all until Jon Bernthal did his thing. If they don't it end up making a series out of the character I hope they at least weave him into the ones they are doing.

one thing i could never stand about heroes is the idea that nobody recognized Clark Kent is Superman because he is wearing glasses.
Just like she didn't happen to notice....when she was up close and personal....he put his hand on her face and tenderly asks if she's OK.....and she somehow doesn't realize that it's Matt.

I'm only through Episode 5, but yeah. Bernthal did really well. During the first fight, I thought he needed to be a little more physically imposing. But man, scene at the cemetary where he talked about his daughter, that's insane. He just ate up that scene, chewed through it like a ****ing piranha. I don't know how many actors are capable of what he did, but the number has to be small. That was some damned compelling television.

Damn that was a good season.

Just finished the last episode. Man. Marvel is God.

The punisher character was awesome. I was talking to my buddy about it and he asked if the punisher was the villain. My answer was, "uhhhh ish". The series does a great job of not dancing around the vigilante thing. I mean sure Kingpin was bad. The hand was bad. But Daredevil, Electra Stick and Punisher aren't necessarily villains but it's tough to look at them as heroes with all the collateral damage.

The Punisher character was damn compelling. Kingpins development was interesting. Karen and foggy were kind of weak compared to the first season but there isn't a lot they can do with them. The police seargent was really good and they crammed a lot of plot points and emotional noted through his tiny character. That was really well done.

The blacksmith shit was kind of confusing. I presume it was the colonel, right? I will say all that shit was convoluted, but the episode where they killed Reyes was really damn impactful.

The hand was of weird. I still don't know wtf was going on with them. I'm not a comic book guy. I still don't know wtf a black sky is. Other than a weapon. I don't know htf Nobu is still alive or how those goofy ninja ****ers got brought back to life. I know it's a slow burn payoff but come on.

The only real problems is that a couple things were kind of sloppy. There were a few things that were bad film making. Like after the trial Matt and foggy go to the bathroom Matt locks the door. Foggy throws a fit and storms out without unlocking it. Also they made it a point to surround the building in the last episode with snipers. But the punisher got up there and smoked fools.

It's also kind of weird that he got his ass beat by Russians on the regular but he can take on trained ninjas like 10 times during the show and doesn't have any impact on his health even though he can't hear them. That's not all the armor.

Overall though good shit. Can't wait for another season.

Resurrecting people is kind of the Hand's schtick. They are complete mooks though with only a few people that can go one on one with a hero.

Daredevil, Bullseye, Elektra, etc. should be able to go through a lot of them.

I think there were a lot of rewrites this season since they didn't get their Bullseye.

Wow what season. Bernthal is just awesome as Punisher. I want to see more of him. Also the way it ended was near perfect! I liked the Elektra actor as well...really curious to see what happens. Also...Statham is he just too big to do this type of stuff? The music the action everything about this show is great..can't wait for s3.

GD this is a great series. So glad I waited until Season 2 dropped to binge on both at once. I really like how all the heroes and villains come into thier monikers/ costumes organically.

I noticed in season 1 the sniper that kills the cops had a playing card in his bag so I thought for sure bullseye would be in S2 but after reading comments here I can see how the rewrite happened.

Vincent D'onfrio is ****ing boss as kingpin. Absolutely nails the character. Hard not to see Sgt Pile when I look at him though.

Elodie Yung is epic as Elektra. Much better than the horse face from the feature film.

Berenthal is also, as many have mentioned before, perfect for Punisher. Great casting.

I see Thor. And a little Eggar. But mostly Thor.

I thought he was absolutely DA BOMB as Edgar. I mean he nailed that shit. the way he walked as he was deteriorating with the quirks and tics....the way he talked....just an awesome performance.

Damn i've been missing out. Started watching this a couple days ago and only 5 episodes in but man it's great.

I've watched green arrow (which i enjoyed) and 5-6 episodes of the flash (eh) and so far daredevil is soo much better than those imo.

The fight scenes are so well done. Like the one in the hallway when he went to save that boy. Holy shit that was awesome!

I loved the way Castle was written. They didn't bitch/pussy him out one bit, his edges are unapologetic and razor sharp

Flash gets better. Particularly when they show the beginning of the Rogues and their special relationship with Flash.

Captain Cold and Hamilton Wells are the most interesting characters on the show though.

The fact he thought I actually didn't know who he was talking about is kind of funny. Hell, you watch the entire series and can't get the name right of the primary villain of the first season? Shit, they still talk about him this season and just had him back on for an episode too.

Really enjoyed season 2. Punisher is going to be a favorite of mine.

Won't watch the trailer cause I don't want anything spoiled . Big fan of the Daredevil series so I am confident it'll deliver once again in season 3.

Also LOVE the Punisher series. Lukewarm to Jessica Jones (her schtick gets a bit tiresome) . Iron Fist is flat out unwatchable . They couldn't find a better actor than that little whiny bitch? And Luke Cage isn't all that . The actor that plays him is too monotone & uninteresting imo which is why I couldn't totally get into the Defenders .

The netflix series really rely on the strength of the villains.

That is why DD has been good with Fisk and then Punisher, the first season of JJ with Kilgrave, and Punisher with the CIA spook, and Luke Cage with Shades and Cottonmouth. Cage season 2 was good with Bushmaster and Mariah as villains.

IF season 1 was a mess. JJ season 2 suffered from a poor villain and I haven't finished IF season 2 yet.

Is the fact that Dex is Bullseye really a spoiler? It was obvious from the first time he appeared on screen. And not just in a if-you-know-comics way, the show wasn't trying to hide it at all.

finished binge watching season 3 & I gotta say it was the best one yet in my opinion. That long take prison riot episode was flat out jaw dropping to watch!

Its a damn shame that so many people have given up on this show though . Won't be surprised if it is canceled . oh well at least we got 3 quality seasons out of it.

Jessica Jones and Punisher already have seasons that have finished filming they just won't be added to Netflix till the new year so if you are waiting for those there's at least one more season of each.
