Q: What's the difference between the Buffalo Bills and a dollar bill?
A: You can still get four quarters out of a dollar.

---

Q: Why is the Buffalo football team like a possum?
A: Because they play dead at home and get killed on the road.

---

Q: What do Billy Graham and the Buffalo football team have in common? A: They can both make a stadium of 50,000 people say "Oh, Jesus."

---

Chan Gailey was asked his secret of evaluating his new recruits. "Well," he said, "I take 'em out in the woods and make 'em run. The ones that run round the trees, I make into running backs. The ones that run straight into the trees, I turn into linemen."

---

Q: What's the difference between the Bills and Cheerios?
A: Cheerios belongs in a bowl.

---

Did you hear that someone purchased the Buffalo Bills and is going to
move them to Alaska?
They are going to rename them the Arctic Chokes

The New York Police are cracking down on speeders heading into Buffalo .

Speaking of Fred, CJ spiller is not the starter on this team, yet. Jackson is who you have to worry about. He is a player. If he played for the Jets/Pats, you'd know exactly who he was. Spiller has looked much better so far, but he still hasn't exactly learned how to allow a play to set up and follow his blocks, one cut and go, etc. But, last game he ran for 35 yards on one play, against the Lions starters, by doing all of those things right, so who knows? The one thing to look for in this game is you ending up with a LB trying to cover our RBs. Good luck with that. If we get any big plays, this is how.

You may need to rewrite this.

Don Beebe was a household name for the sole reason of running down a defender during a rather infamous fumble return in the SB. . It had nothing to do with his offensive production... which was mediocre for a 2nd or 3rd option. After that play, everyone was like "Look how fast that white guy is!" That's it. His entire claim to fame.

The bills popularized the no-huddle offense, but it's hyperbole to act as though it revolutionized NFL offenses.

I think the city of Buffalo gets a bad rap. I enjoyed their zoo, and the Anchor Bar was pretty good.

Aside from that, as a Patriots fan I don't have much to add. In 2003, Belichick traded Lawyer Milloy to Buffalo a week before opening day. Buffalo croaked them 31-0 the opening week, leading to Tom Jackson's now-infamous "this team hates their coach" remark. The Pats beat Buffalo in the last game of that season by the same score, won the 2nd of 3 SBs, and have then gone on to beat them 14 more times in a row. So, until proven otherwise, it's hard for me to take them seriously, especially when they're perenially awful and always picked to suck yet again.

Buddy, you had to know, if I asked you to name them, that there's no way you were right about returning 5 starters...

Line: Dareus Williams(returning) Edwards
LBs: Kelsay(returning, sort of, not in this position much), Davis(hurt when we played you last, IRed), Barnett, Merriman

So, no, it's more like: you've see 1(one) of our guys in his position, full time, as a starter. This front 7 is not close to the one you saw last year, which was still mostly operating as a 4-3.

What's up, Chiefs' fans? I'm heading down to Arrowhead for the game and I'm really looking forward to it. I've never been to KC and I've always wanted to see a game there, though I think I'd rather see you guys play (and beat) the Raiders than my BILLS.

The two places left on my bucket list to see NFL games are KC and GB - they've also always been the top 2 on that list. Great fans and a teams with rich history. The Willie Lanier/Bobby Bell/Jim Lynch linebacker corp is my favorite of all time. I went to Canton in 2009 to see Bruce Smith and Derrick Thomas inducted - the greatest pass rush class in Hall of Fame history.

Anyway, can't wait for the 11th!

Oh, Christ! This is as nice as you will see Darin, ever.

Watch him get on me for something. Anything. These are the mods that I am talking about. They won't even let you go to another board without checking up on you :D

Aren't the Bengals & the Bills pretty much indistinguishable

Garbage is still garbage even if it's rearranged garbage.

FYI, we are going to be running right at Dwan Edwards and Kelsay with our best run blockers. That's a bad matchup for you guys.

For reasons passing understanding, Marcus Stroud started ahead of Edwards lat year, and, Kelsay was playing 4-3 end and not 3-4 LB last year.

I think most people would agree that these aren't the same positions. I think most people in Buffalo would prefer that Kelsay be playing Left Off Team this year, but he has looked better in his new spot.

Agreed. This defense is much bigger and more athletic than it was last season, though I still have questions about Kelsay and the secondary. I don't think there's any doubt that the run defense will be better because it's almost impossible for it to be worse.

Chris Kelsay is in no way suited to be a linebacker.

That's an awful position fit.

Dwan Edwards played 400 snaps for your team last year....he's part of the problem, not part of the solution.

It really doesn't matter where you guys line these players up, they suck.

Good luck Bills. My brother is a Bills fan, so I have always had respect for them.

Please return the favor.

I am actually a big fan of the Bills punter. I hope to see him often on Sunday. ;)

What's up guys. Psyched for the game this week. I flew out to K.C. last year for the Bills vs. Chiefs Halloween game. Sill see flashbacks of Fitz bombing it out to Spiller in the end zone and missing the game winner by about a foot.

I predict a lot of people will be predicting an upset out of us because of how you guys have played in the pre-season (not that we have really played any better but then again nobody really expects us too). Add in the possibility that Cassell doesn't play and Moeaki is already out and even more people might be tempted to pick an upset. I do expect it to be close. It has been I think a decade or even a little longer since the Bills have lost a season opener by more than six points.

Thins I am looking forward to seeing:
1) Bills pass rush. With the additions of Dareus and Merriman will it be much improved?
2) Bills run defense. Can they be at least average?
3) Stevie Johnson. Can he continue the success of his 2010 season?
4) CJ Spiller. Can he finally become a playmaker. I want to see more long TDs from him this year.
5)Fitzpatrick. Would like to see him cut back on the turnovers.

For the Chiefs:
1) How many carries does Charles get this year. Will he still average over 5 ypc or eve 6 again?
2) Will Hali continue to be a force?

Kind of crazy that this is the fourth straight year that the two teams will meet in K.C. Here's to the Bills taking a 3-1 stranglehold on the mini series.

WTF? I never said anything of the sort. Fitz is starting and will play, unless our O line turnstiles your LBs, Fitz gets hurt, and we have to go with...Brad Smith.

I saw an interesting fantasy analysis the other day: Said if Fitz had started last season from game one, he would have put up better fantasy numbers than Flacco-->based on what he did when he started.

Edwards was the starter the first few games for no other reason than somebody in the FO wouldn't let it go. Fitz was the better QB since he got here.

I agree with this. Brian has been a great ambassador for the Gorillas. Hope to see him often on Sunday.

You're going to be running both left, and right, at the same time? :D

Well, given the run defense last year, that was actually possible. We hope to be improved though.

Post 194. Read it. Gif Horse listed your QB's and you said NONE of them will be playing.

You said it.
