I believe Lorenzen was left in too long. 97-98 pitches in your season debut isn't the way IMO. But the bats are quieter than usual so there's that.

I'm a casual who's watched 4 games so far this year so someone please correct me if I'm wrong here but it seems like this line up is missing a bat maybe two from being really good?

Cam Smith is already an everyday player for the Astros and is the current betting favorite for rookie of the year. Bet those odds would change pretty quick if the Royals brought up JC. BRING UP JC

Play it safe with a hammy. That could be nagging injury that we don't need later in the year.
