He's not my first choice, maybe not even my second. I literally acknowledged the first time I brought him up as an option for me that I've been dismissive up until this point, but I posted that before there was any strong connection to the Chiefs.

Again, I don't know what the deal is, but you seem to want to argue a lot lately. That's all I'm saying. Not a personal attack, just an observation.

He hasn't improved every year. He was awful in 2023. And in 2024 he was the same guy he was in 2022. That's a guy who's found his ceiling (and it was fringe starter quality) but who's also demonstrated that his floor is going to stay in play.

Sure.

And not like the SF scheme is in any way similar to ours. It protects its OL hugely with the run game.

Jaylon Moore would be quite a gamble. Dan Moore might not be much better.

Becoming pretty evident that teams think Cam Robinson is low character and it’s why he was given away at the deadline.

Can't find the post now, but someone on here was claiming they had inside info the Chiefs were after Dan Moore yesterday.

It was Duncan in the draft section FA thread.

I’ve noticed whoever we sign reminds me a lot of Jonathan Ogden.

Whoever we don’t sign reminds me of Jordan Black.

Maybe that's the case, but that seems to be the consensus amongst Steelers fans whether they like him or hate him.

Sure, granted, but this year 5 of us dealing with an uncertain long term LT - a problem that has - in part - lead to us blowing two super bowls because we can't protect the QB. Look I don't think they are going to sign an expensive LT and then draft one in the first... but **** a duck... we have to fix this, one way or another.

If you end up with more than one starting caliber T then wonderful, you have a RT for next year when Taylor is kicked to the curb.

Hardly a waste when LT is the lone position on the roster that is potentially responsible for getting Mahomes injured. Miss out on a DT or CB? Oh well, maybe the defense falls off for a year or so. It's not the end of the world.

When your offense has fallen off 2 years in a row due to a combination of shit WR play and shit LT play, you're really going to not go hard at addressing LT? That's insanity.

Sure, don't trade way up in a shit OT class in the draft. Signing someone in FA (either Moore) and still drafting Conerly in the 1st or maybe Ersery/Mbow/Belton in the 2nd/3rd range isn't too much to ask.

Breer in his article mentions teams are down on his football character.

The ole man is a die-hard Steelers fan and he legit told me yesterday that Dan Moore sucks. If he says Moore sucks, count me out lol.
