Have you tried injecting bleach into your body?

My strongest suggestion, stay away from nasal spray.

I'm 100% addicted, and the rebound affect is terrible, causes acute sinusitis over time.

I can't breath unless I hit the spray every few hours now.

Sucks!

Great advice. :thumb:

Same problem occurs with eye drops like Visine.

Doxycycline anti-biotic

Not sure if they do z=pac anymore.

Each fall, I get something like a sinus infection. Take that. It takes time to go away, but better than suffering.

I used to get 1-2 sinus infections a winter. Doc recommended Vitamin D. I get the 50,000 IU pills from Amazon. I take them 3-4 times a week during winter, 1-2x a week during summer.

No sinus infections in the intervening 15+ years. My colds are far less frequent and much less severe. Instead of a cold that knocks me of my feet for 5-7 days, it’s 2-3 days and pretty mild. If I don’t take my Vitamin D as I should, I can get more severe colds but I still don’t get the infections.

Don’t get the 5,000 unit pills. Get the 50,000 ones. 3-4 times a week from October thru April try it for a winter and you’ll be surprised.

50,000 IU is hardcore.

I went to the nurse practitioner today. She said stay on the navage and nasal spray for a max of 5 days. Then switch to navage and Flonase as long as it takes. Said she would give me antibiotics but did not think it would help. Tested neg for Covid.

I read this thread yesterday and today I feel like I have a sinus infection/cold. Keep your shit to yourself.

Lol, at least I didn’t have AIDS. What would you do then.

The hospital said Covid and the flu are going crazy. Crazy that it coincides with school starting nationwide. Oh well, let us all get it and get it over with. Exactly what we should have done with Covid to begin with…….

Dumb and debunked multiple times.

Keep it in DC.

get them all the time unfortunately. enough to where I've considered sinus surgery.

As mentioned - saline spray (though the gel seems to work better for me).

Sinus rinse (netti)

Sudafed (the kind you have to sign for) helps open up your ears/nose/breathing

It has been 25 years since I looked into the sinus surgery and unless it has improved a billion % then I would avoid.

I talked to several that had it and not one of them said it was worth it. Most had little to no improvements and a few it was even worse after.

I suffered allergies in my nose and eyes growing up around KC. They went away when I moved to California but they came back when I moved to the Seattle at. Now I use Flonase and Refresh eye drops both of those products help a lot.
