And I've never been that impressed with total yards as an indicator of anything in particular.

But I looked at yards/play (7.5), 3rd down efficiency (6/11), RZ efficiency (3/4), and concluded that the offense showed significant improvement over their season numbers in those stats.

They tried to pass 11 times in their first 18 offensive snaps of the 2nd half, at least 6 times to a WR, and completed just one ball to a WR in the third quarter.

They also scored just one time in the 2nd half. And needed a huge return from Hardman to do it.

But, in spite of the obvious issues they had in the 2nd half, imo, the offense did show some improvement, specifically in the stat lines that I listed at the top of this post.

So while you might be jizzing unicorns and rainbows over the total yards stat, I'm looking a little deeper than that.

*in interest of full disclosure-I misspoke above. The Chiefs are NOT two games ahead in HFA, until Miami loses tonight, in which case, they would be ahead by at least one game in the loss column, and another in tie-breakers.

To the best of my knowledge at the moment. If I'm wrong, please correct me. Unlike some people, I can admit when I'm wrong.

I just think it would be nice if you were a Chiefs fan who didn’t make up stats at times and cherrypick stats at other times to support your arguments.

That’s the only fan that I would like you to be on a message board that I frequent. Otherwise, I don’t for a second care for what type of fan you are.

Even through a TV screen, you could feel the life temporarily being sucked out of Arrowhead when MEH carried the ball. He's like a vampire, but instead of sucking blood he sucks the enthusiasm out of a stadium. He also sucks plenty of penis.

CEH has to get some snaps to spell Pacheco.He had a handfull yesterday. The first carry he had no chance, no one would have. He dropped the flair pass by our goaline, which was good, as he would have lost a yard or two, and then he had a hard nosed carry for 6 yards. We are using him very little, but he needs to be used. It's a long season and he is a good pass blocker and rarely fumbles.
