I like it cause you can get the bread really crispy while the interior of the bread stays soft. On the other hand, you have to watch it closely or it'll burn.

Oh that's very true!

mayo doesn't really have a taste when you cook it, just don't use like miracle whip or something.

if you have an immersion blender you can make homemade mayo in like 30 seconds which is much much better than anything you can get in the store

Absolutely not. That shit is even worse than real mayo.

Count me in with the butter brigade. Nothing against mayo...but buttered bread pretty much makes everything better (when toasted/grilled etc)

My wife recently started using Mayo for here chicken sandwiches. She coats the chicken breast in lite Mayo, then breads it, seasons it, and then puts it in the air fryer.

Ends up looking like this.

Basically can use mayo anywhere you use butter. Also works as an excellent binder in lieu of mustard or EVOO or whatever.

Oh, and try a small dollop in your scrambled eggs instead of milk/butter.

A Mayonnaise sandwich implies it only has mayo on it man, if you eat a sandwich without mayo that shit is dry as hell.

Mom used to make me butter sugar sandwiches as a kid

Mix the mayo with a bit of siracha sauce and then grille the bread to kick it up a notch.
