When I watch film on Jalin Hyatt, he makes a lot of plays deep, but it seems to be because he was schemed open or there was a blown coverage. But, I was just watching highlights, because although I watched the Tennessee Alabama game, I don't really remember Hyatt. What really stood out to me watching his highlights was how good the OC in Tennessee is, and how incredible Hooker's arm is, because unfortunately, the highlights I saw were mostly Hyatt being wide open. Maybe he did great work early, and that is why he was always so open, but the highlights didn't focus on that. However, A.T. Perry could be a great value pick in the 3rd or 4th round, if he is there. Also, I am just going to throw this out there, and I am probably an idiot, and I am high, but after watching lots of videos of WRs, if Reid and Nagy would like to create matchup problems, and maybe plan for a future without Kelce, I think we should draft Elijah Higgins, help him gain about 5-10 pounds of muscle, and move him to Tight End. He played at Stanford, so he is probably quite intelligent, and could really probably pick up everything Kelce puts down in the TE room and on the field. Also, because we have no shot at Luke Musgrave. |
I want to trade up for Will Levis's GF or sister.
Both have good measurables. |

Tyler Scott/Downs are WR fits here.
I'm willing to move up now for a weapon. |
I like: Hyatt (probably goes in the next few picks, though)
Mingo, Rice, Tillman in the second AT Perry, Mims, Scott in the third. I'd love to trade our third to get high in the second, and then our two fourths to get back into the third if we could, but it takes trade partners. I really think the second and third rounds are the best value rounds in this draft. |
I think I'd take what's there at end of R2 if I'm honest, partly because I want to keep picks in the 4th for DT. But if we traded up for our guy, did the same again for a 3rd OT and then used some of the later rounds on run stuffers and BPAs, cool.

I like that TE out of Iowa if we don't trade up in the 2nd, OT Jones if we do. I'm sure the brain trust at 1 Arrowhead has visited with #15 about WRs. If he's happy, I'm happy.

If we stay right where we are, is Dell a reach?

What I want on day 2: A massive run stopper on the DL and a RT (Notice I said a RIGHT tackle). What I expect: A WR from a trade up. I don't care what actually happens because I'm pretty sure Veach knows a hell of a lot more about this draft thingy than I do. PBJ

Darnell Washington, freakish TE from Georgia if he makes it down to the 3rd round… would look good in a Chiefs uniform.
