It won't be much. Why put him out there anytime soon? The offense is ranked number one.

Who got cut to make room on the roster? Clark being suspended would offset it for a couple of weeks. But McDuffie should be getting activated from IR soon so someone has to go . Who? Also, who goes on the inactive list to activate him? JuJu, MVS, Hardman, Skyy, and Watson have been active all year. They aren't going to dress more than 5 WR. Only one that I could see being inactive is Watson, but IDK.

He will return kicks and get a few snaps running sweeps and screens.

That’s what I’m expecting this year with a much bigger role next year

He'll be an upgrade at PR.

And for this season that's likely it. Next year, he'll get all of Hardman's stuff if Hardman prices himself out of KC.

That's my expectations as well. But that only applies if he buys into the culture at Arrowhead. I'm not sure it's sunk into him yet, but as a former 1st rounder in New York, he just got traded for the NFL equivalent of a bagel with a small schmear. He better be on his best behavior.

Depends on him. If he comes in and applies himself he could easily be one of the top contributors by the time we're hitting the last week's of the season before the playoffs. If it's more of the same he's done in New York probably just punt returns and gimmick duty with an occasional catch or two downfield.

Honestly, if it's more of the same I don't think he'll play much at all. He's got to get that cleaned up first.

RetiredSeniorChief 10-27-2022 11:48 PM

Looking at his short history, he is AWOL and Sick Call most of the time.

Dude, it’s not even close.

Percy Harvin is one of the fastest players I’ve ever seen. Go watch some of his highlights. Toney is nothing like him from a game speed perspective.

Put 40 times aside unless you want to put Knile Davis into the conversation.

Harvin excelled in straight line speed not unlike Hardman.

Toney isn't that fast but is a lot more shifty.

The only thing they are comparable is the school they went to. Toney is faster than Harvin.

Megatron96 10-28-2022 01:36 AM

Toney isn't as fast as Mecole. But he accelerates a bit quicker, and he's got a lot more wiggle. And someone back me here, but I think he's damned near an elite route-runner. Some of his moves at the top of the route are Kelce level.

Damn, the more I see of this guy the more I hope we can reclaim this kid. This guy could replace both MVS and Hardman next season.

Molitoth 10-28-2022 06:41 AM

Prob get him started on punt returns. Skyy Moore just can't seem to do it.

Rasputin 10-28-2022 06:52 AM

I think Toney Kardashian will start out being a kick/punt returner we need someone more reliable and that can give us better field position to start a drive. Then they will open his role as he learns the play book. Coming in on a bye week is good for him to learn and Andy to draw something up.

dlphg9 10-28-2022 07:03 AM

It all depends on how hard this dude will work. If he works hard, then I could see him having 300ish yards. If he's a dipshit and doesn't try hard I could see him having <100
