I was never a newb... Transplant from the old Star board days over to here. I remember Austin Chief polling the star board for website names in order to eventually register ChiefsPlanet.

I don't remember any specific hazing or anything like that. I was pretty homerific. Pretty sure my first post was singing the praises of Downfield Damon.

Of course I had no ****ing clue why you asked me the question and didn't see the thread until much later.

It sure caught me off guard but kind of gave me a hint about the general atmosphere of the board.

I got into a dust-up with Logical/Jim about something not long after joining. Later I organized a tailgate in San Diego and we buried the hatchet. Also met Big Daddy and his wife at that tailgate.

I lurked for most of the end of the pioli era (came in as a drinker) watched it crashing and burning went to the blackout game, then felt like I'd earned my stripes asand began posting a little. Mostly lurk.

I feel old knowing that my n00b time was served on the old KC Star board. The only thing I remember about my first few days there was thinking that the message board would be similar to a chat room and the responses would all be short. I vaguely remember Titus giving me flack about having really short posts of 5 words or less.
