Sure, but their touchdowns are not that far off (Fitz has like 14 more than Alex for his career)

meanwhile Fitz has thrown like 30 more interceptions.

So the only thing that is actually "WAY MORE" is the fact that Fitz turns the ball over at a much higher rate. Which makes him, well, worse not the same.

A good article about how the Texans ruined carr Luck is pretty much on the same path the Texans put Carr on.

76 times during any rookie season is enough to destroy a career.

David Carr took 76 sacks as a rookie because he had a stiffer neck than William Bartee.

He might as well have had bolts in that neck.

The guy failed because he never learned to through progressions, and took what seemed weeks to look for anyone other than his primary target.

His O-Lines were never nearly as bad as he made them look.

The Texans didn't ruin his career.
His own shortcomings as a QB managed that.

I have no idea why that matters because he still has thrown more interceptions whether he played in 1910 or 2008.

in fact if he played in 06 or 07 he would have probably thrown even more interceptions, furthering my point in that Fitz and Alex are not the same and would be much farther apart.
