There was a point in the game when the Chiefs were averaging more yards running than they were passing.

a damn shame Alex couldn't have been playing against the KC defense.. with some real targets (injuries as were). Easy money there.

:eek::hmmm:

Ya. He was just playing against a worse defense.

Damn shame Alex doesn't play in a zero gravity environment so his receivers could reach his passes.

Hey, it's not Alex's fault he doesn't have a great offensive line, his great RB is hurt, not enough great WRs, an elite defense, great playcalling, or great clock management.

Get all of that stuff, then you can blame him if he doesn't win.

Funny how HoF and mediocre QBs can make defenses look different, right?

Jesus he missed a couple of passes. Did you actually watch the game, he wasn't the problem today.

Let it go.

Yeah, that's a reasonable observation. Although Dawson never really played at all until he went to the AFL. He was essentially "home grown" but he did begin his career with Pittsburgh and Cleveland as a bench rider.

The last QB we tried to draft high and groom was Blackledge. It went so bad, they've never tried again. Which sucks a lot.

I can recall more than a couple.

He had 2 endzone fades that never had a chance. Missed Kelce in the endzone twice (once Kelce slipped a bit). And missed Maclin down the sideline with a pass that had no chance. Thats 5 off the top of my head that could have (should have) resulted in TDs.

Been holding it long before you ever graced us with your presence as a "Chiefs fan."

They were all overthrown by about 10 yards. That one to Conley in the back of the end zone wasn't even close (and he was open).

:D

Really though, everyone wants to be able to point a finger at someone, anyone, but whatever... just another year they were arguably the best of the rest, but not really in the same league as the real contenders (as they were, who knows at 100%).

Granted, Rodgers might lose to Carson Palmer... :shrug:
