Gosh man, if Poe's arms were just a couple of inches longer, he would be even more of a monster.

My fear:

Here's how I see this game, one day out.

I think it'll be something ridiculous like 33 to 28, Seahawks.

I don't see how on earth we stop the Seahawks rungame. Our ILBs are too weak, and unless we take a 180-degree turn and play with three DL for the majority of the game, they'll run right over us.

At the same time, I don't know how Seattle stops us. Our specialty is the short passing game and run game, and Seattle's one of the worst at stopping the short passing game. We also run the ball on everyone, and without Mebane, the Seattle rush defense is merely above average.

So neither team can stop the other. I'm going with the Seahawks merely because I like their run game on Sutton's defense more than I like our offense on their defense. I really do think the Seahawks will run the ball 45 times.

Interesting fact, warning to all in this thread not to get cocky if the Chiefs get ahead:

Quote:

Since divisional realignment, the Seahawks are 2-15 vs. AFC teams in 10 AM PT games. One of those two wins came last year vs. Houston after falling behind 20-3, and the other one was 2005 in Tennessee after falling behind 24-14. Seattle made the Super Bowl in both seasons, so basically if they beat the Chiefs on Sunday, this two-game sample size suggests we're off to Arizona in February. It's a tough task and it should be a great game.

On the bright side, the only AFC team they've beaten at the time they're playing us in the last five years as the NFL's worst team last year.

Get scared at the fact that they are 2-15 vs AFC opponents at 10 AM start times?

If the Chiefs could get out to a quick early lead with a couple big plays like a a turnover or a big return and get up by a couple scores, that would make things very difficult for Seattle to run their offense the way they want to through their running game.

Here's to some quick early strikes and a 14-0 or 17-3 early lead in the first half.

I hope so man. I want to see DAT and Albert Wilson get a lot of reps.

I think part of the reason why DAT fielded those punts was because he didn't get any offensive touches, the kid is itching to make a play.

I'd like to see them try and take a deep pass with DAT like they did with Jenkins last week.
