Just like I/you say to the people who deem Geno a failure at this point, you can't sit here and say that.

At this point, we have no idea which way it will go. Maybe it's Drew Brees, maybe it's Matt Cassel.

We don't know yet whether it was a mistake or not.

I was operating under the assumption that Geno was going to be a good QB. It was a hypothetical situation.

I want him to do well and i want him to kick ass. Just to prove to someone eventually that hey, you need a ****ing quarterback to win. One that will carry you, not one that you hope doesnt make mistakes.

We need Geno to be a great qb. Im sick of this second rate qb bullshit we are doing.

Gotcha.

Statement rescinded. In that case, yes, bad idea.

Imagine how much better he would be doing if he would have went to Dirty Sanchez's weekend barbeque/Dane

One thread about this is enough.

I really can't believe he's playing better than a guy that barely completed 50% of his passes and turned it over 26 times last year.

nychief 08-01-2013 08:24 PM

They haven't started wearing pads yet fuktards

They say he mastered the buttfumble after only 2 days in camp.

Just another "fluff" article. This one happens to be about the QB that wasn't worthy.
If this article would have been about any current Chief the OP would have been all about how it is just a fluff piece nobody is in pads and all that.
But go ahead and feel like you are fooling someone other than yourself. Dipshit.

Please.

More like Aaron Brooks or Jim Drunkenmiller.

I don't think Geno is as talented as those two, I was making the point we see more streaky QB's in the modern era that can get hot hand etc.

Jim D was an idiot, Brooks is a good comparison to Geno Smith. I think Geno could become a NFL QB paired with the right coaching, like say these WCO guys, but I don't know if Marty M is a good match up. it's not at all a sure thing. GS was horrible against TT last season and he never seemed to recover. he struggles to read zone defense, can be hesitant and he does make too many bad throws when guys are wide open. he's got a long way to go.
