Off Topic but Chad Ochocinco just said the best Corner to ever guard him talent wise is either Joe Haden or Brandon Flowers.

I would trade all of next year's picks for none of this year's picks to sign.

This would be on topic in the thread about it.

Interesting. This is really, really comparable to Phil Loadholt's contract extention, worth about $3M less total. Loadholt got a 4 year, $25M extention with a cap hit that goes up from $4M by a million every year.

Basically, Fisher is one of the top-paid right tackles in the game. And I think everyone expects him to play like that.

We could still extend Albert and we wouldn't be overpaying the tackle position, just putting a premium on it. But it's not like we're paying top left tackle money to two different guys.

We could extend Albert, and then in three or four years, let him walk and move Fisher. Or just let Albert play out his franchise tag, move Fisher next year. But I'd like to see both Albert and Fisher stick around.

I see BA playing out this year at his full contract, at LT, and then him walking and Fish moving to replace him......

Name one good reason we should bother signing any of our picks.

Thinking about how shitty our draft was makes me wanna stress-eat a bucket of hushpuppies!!!

RealSNR 05-13-2013 10:11 PM

I'd sign all of our picks to draft value-appropriate contracts just to go **** themselves

Sweet Daddy Hate 05-13-2013 10:38 PM

Fisher: 1,000,000. Go **** yourself. Everyone else, Axl included; league minimum. Go **** yourselves.

That's crazy seeing that a 7th round pick makes nearly as much as a 3rd round pick over the life of the deal.

Almost no difference.
