I never thought I would see Parcells and Jones either.

Could you please expand on your dislike for Pasqualoni....i (and maybe some others) don't really know anything about him.

He was a decent college coach.

He coordinated a decent defense last year.

He's 59 years old and is said to be really set in his ways.

And Mortenson's never been wrong?

It's JMO, but I'll gladly make a friendly wager if you like.

If Herm departed I wish it was at a better time.

You got good coaches next year Cowher, Holmgren, I don't think Shanahan is going to coach this year but next year I bet he will.

I'd like for Pioli to get someone with experience. And if not for experience at least one is very very smart.

I'm not saying it's true, and didn't put much stock into until Garrett left. With Garrett leaving, I think it's even money.

Cowher wants total control, he wouldn't come here anyway.

BigChiefFan 01-16-2009 04:48 PM

I think Garrett is overrated, but we will soon see.

Yeah thats the problem with a lot of those old guys they want full control. We just hired the best GM prospect out there and gave him full control, now I'm betting he'll want to work as a team with whoever he hires like he did with BB in NE but he will have final say

OnTheWarpath15 01-16-2009 04:49 PM

All these guys are great coordinators, but that doesn't guarantee success as a HC.

Just ask Mike Martz, Cam Cameron and Mike Nolan.

LOL @ Jerry Jones

I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry is pleased at this. Garrett did an awful job last year. He deserved to be fired anyway.

Johnny Vegas 01-16-2009 04:53 PM

wow! I thought when Dallas kept him that it was foreshadowing Garrett was going to be the next Cowboys coach by next year. Hmmm....there I go thinking again.
