This shouldn't be that hard.

Give me a reason why so-and-so should be on the All-American list instead of Andre Smith? Tell me why Andre wasn't good enough to be an All-American.

Your smartass, convenient replies don't accomplish anything.

I am telling you Andre's game-film and play speak for itself. He should be recognized nationally, but offensive line is the toughest place for an underclassman to garner attention. The offensive line All-Americans are predetermined during the preseason and it's hard for a young guy to break into a group of seniors and juniors that typically have 40 starts under their belt.

Ooooh I can play this game too. Give me a reason why Andre Smith should be an All-American over the players selected. Tell me why these guys are not better than Andre Smith.

I was kinda surprised Collins made that list. Speaks volumes as to the kind of publicity KU had been getting because I figured most didn't know about him

Dude was a beast though..played the last few games injured and still rarely got beat

Stater is owning the 'Toe like plantation slave.

A reason why?

I would say it is because he isn't as good as Anthony Collins, Jake Long, Kirk Barton ,Ryan Stanchek, Ryan Clady, or Sam Baker.

You don't think a sophomore is deserving who shares the "Best offensive lineman honor" with a player of that caliber then you're just a closed minded fool.

EAT IT PUNK!

You mean the same flawed system that rewarded freshman Jeremy Maclin doesn't reward underclassmen?

Collins is very good and should be good at the next level. However, when he played hurt against MU, Sulak spent quite a bit of time in KU's backfield and Collins was often the responsible party.

What I'm really having a tough time understanding is why you are so desperately trying to convince Planet members that your "boy" is so great and deserves to be All-American? What in the world compels you to join a CHIEFS message board and post nothing but post after post of blabble that is nothing more than a man crush you have on this Andre Smith guy. And at 6-4, 348, that's a BIG crush. NTTATWWT.

I have nothing against Long, Collins, Baker, Clady or Stanchek, but Smith should be there over Ryan Clady. Clady is a good techician and a fine run blocker, but he's not an exceptional pass blocker. He's average against speed rushers around the edge.

Andre Smith was a lot more impressive in all facets of blocking against tougher competition.

Can I see some cherry-picked film of Clady that proves this?

I just made a simple statement Andre Smith got snubbed and kskater took a smart ass jab at me. Blame him for this tirade.
