Moustakas is way better than Chisenhall. Every scout, MLB person, everybody would say the same thing.

The idea behind sending Moose down isn't to get somebody better. It's to "fix" Moose.

If you think Moose can find his way at the ML level, keep him up. If you think he's lost confidence and needs a couple of weeks to rake in AAA to regain his stroke and swagger, you send him down even if Gia or Seratelli post an identical line in KC.

By the way the Indians have 19 games coming up against the Tigers, Red Sox, Yankees, and Rangers. We have 10 with the Cardinals, Rangers, and Tigers. Like I said, things will play its self out.

After this offensive drought I sure am glad you've remained positive.

I will believe it when I see it.

I thought @Anaheim was it. I have a pretty sour taste in my mouth after the series in Oakland.

This makes sense.

His confidence looks shot to me, and his recent performance suggests it is. That was not the case before (and it was still really early). I wouldn't be surprised if THINKNG he had found 'it' during his hot stretch, only to slump again has really beaten him down.

But you still have to have a viable person to start at 3B in the meantime, since they went in to win this season.

Gio or Seratelli as a fill-in works for me.

He's terrible and has been terrible for almost a full year now. It's possible he will turn it around but I wouldn't say he's better than Chisenhall right now. Speculating on what MLB scouts would say is pointless so I can't really address it.

We have historically struggled in Oakland, same with Baltimore, and the Yankees are well the well the Yankees. We got the Astros coming up, we just kicked the Angels ass and we got them for 4. Another tough week though next week with our two geographical rivals in the Cards and Rangers, then June gives us a week of the Twins and Astros before Detroit comes to town.

IMO, I don't care who they face or win/lose to as long as the offense improves and remains consistent, and as long as they play good, smart defense.

ding, ding, ding, WINNER

I just saw that Seratelli has committed 16 errors in 83 career games at 3B.

Maybe it should be Gio or Falu.

Edit: The other thing to consider is that Gio and Falu are on the 40-man roster, Seratelli isn't.

Play some shitty teams and all of that will improve including the wins. June 17-19 when Detroit comes to town will be the watermark point to the season IMO.

Oh, that's brutal.

18 errors in 118 career games at 2B is barely any better. His RF/LF numbers are the only ones that aren't scary. Looks like 1B is his best defensive position. Too bad he's 5-10.

Looks like he can play 1B and corner OF spots without killing you defensively. Still, probably a better use of a roster spot than Francoeur. But probably not a viable option at 3B for a major league team that needs good pitching and D to win.

Check my edit on the 40-man, too.

What's Mark Teahan doing these days? He could fill in at third, first, right, left, or second in a pinch. WAY TOO MUCH VALUE TO BE SITTING AT HOME

With Seratelli, he's a guy who I can at least see providing some juice with the bat. Falu is a less good version of Elliott Johnson.

I know they're trying to stash that UTIL guy, but Seratelli's offensive potential - though still limited- is still higher than Falu.

Also, if you DFA Getz or Francoeur or JC Gutierrez, you have room for Seratelli. Not that hard, IMO, to find room.

If it's just one move, I lean towards it being Gio. If they're bringing up a second position guy, it should be Seratelli.
