I got dragged to this with my girlfriend’s family. Was not a fan, but I was the only one who felt that way. Just seemed way too long for an obvious plot. I was also the only one who went with no idea that this was a thing before the movie so I didn’t have the nostalgic feel for these songs. The theater freaked out for a couple older people in the movie that apparently were the original broadway performers or something. It’s not absolutely terrible, but a lot of the songs are completely forced. I also have to hear my girlfriend singing that annoying popular song everyday now so I think I hate it more now than I did when I was watching it ROFL Ariana Grande does a good job and has a great voice, but some of her high notes just gave me a headache and it was pretty often that she would hit them.

I just learned that that is Ariana Grande. Wow she looks good. I thought she was Mexican but apparently not.

War department and I went and saw it the day after Thanksgiving. The wicked witch was good, the good witch was a self-centered bitch and the Wizard was evil. At least the flying monkeys were still scary. They twisted one of the all time great movies in it's time into "woke" crap.
