Man I had fun last night. Neighborhood watch party was great and I'm running on about 5 hours sleep. What a run, what an impressive game from Dave in particular. But really such a smothering team win, just a no doubter and then to get to watch Coach K slither into the sewer after. Just beautiful.

It kinda goes without saying that UNC is playing higher than their seed. It would be impossible to make it to the title game without that being true.

I really wonder about Bacot’s ankle. That looked pretty nasty. I’m sure he’ll play, but how will he feel? Is he 90%? 80%? Just like we need to play well, UNC will need to play well too. Any injury really hurts them. Like Nova, they have no bench.

Wilson vs Manek will be a good matchup to watch. Manek got bullied by Banchero several times. Obviously, Wilson isn’t that guy but should be able to drive on him effectively.

Kenpom says we’ve played the best defenses of anyone. If our shots are falling, we should be able to put up 80. Will be interesting to see if our defense frustrates UNC.

UNC is 39th in Kenpom for Adjusted D. Oklahoma, Villanova, Creighton, TCU, Texas, Baylor, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech (and KU) all rate higher. All teams KU has beaten, some of them when KU wasn't playing as well as they are right now offensively.

Let's take an optimistic approach rather than the doom and gloom on this one. It's a great opportunity and KU is the favorite, let's bask in that until gametime.

Chuck already said he made a mistake in wardrobe, wishes he’d saved the purple pinstripe for Monday night instead of his Carolina blue. Bacot tweaks something every other play it looks like. This team overachieved tremendously this year. If it wasn't for Love and Smith they wouldn't have made it past the first round. Unfortunately I don't see how Kansas doesn't run away with this
