Hmm, I never knew that. Don't hate him quite so much now.

holy shit...

Or maybe the Niners had alot to do with it. I can't believe you guys thought this was going to be a piece of cake. Niners were the SB favorites by many people before the season even began, This was not like some cinderella story and they came out of nowhere. And they took the Chiefs to the limit. The 3rd and 4 play with 2 minutes left was the game. Niners convert there, Mahomes doesn't get the ball back to go and get a game tying FG.

Chenal had a strong game with the strip, the key kick block, half sack and sealed the edge and contained Purdy runs.. Even FAU made a play. Sneed and McDuffie outstanding again. George had 3 QB hits. The future on D is bright.

Their D looked like their early season D for 3 quarters. They wore down at the end and no D would stop Mahomes there. They were legit and their DC called a great game.

This game was another example of how hard it is to win the SB. You need health, luck and timely execution. I don't ever take it for granted. Every single one is precious.

He played, and made a key stop at one point late in the game. I think maybe he just had fewer snaps with Bolton and Gay back.

And Mahomes. You also need Mahomes.

Wasn’t it always a rumor he paid for DT’s funeral, too?

Davis loved the game. He’d hate where the Faid are at but likely would love what Mahomes brings to the league.

Agreed.

The Chiefs 100% played tight, but the 49ers were the NFC favorites all year for a reason.... thinking it would be a blowout was dumb, or at the very least prerty damn over confident after the run through the playoffs.

Saying franchise QB > great team/system doesn't make it easy. It's ****ing hard.

I think the refs did a great job overall.

I do think a couple of our spots we got short changed. Aside from that I think Bolton got blatantly held on a sweep wide right.

That's my only complaints.

Love seeing Vegas buildings plastered with Chiefs logos. We own that city!

you might want to dig really really hard to find the words 'piece of cake' in my posts. When you dont find that shit, I'll thank you for not including me in 'you guys thought this was a piece of cake'....
