Ok, so winning the title is the only measure of a well-run franchise. Then stop watching the Chiefs and Royals. Just stop. They don't win and they have zero chance to ever win. So you can stop asap.

You have literally just become a troll. The Indians have made the playoffs once in the last 11 or 12 seasons. And even then, they had an all time choke job after being up 3-1.

They certainly had a great little run in the mid/late 90's, no doubt about that. But they still choked it away and never won anything. But that is really the only successful stretch they've had in almost 70 years.

I know it isn't a 12-game losing streak but just as bad...

This has nothing to do with the discussion we were having. You would have little problem finding people who think the Royals are poorly run. 99% of us here would agree. That has nothing to do with the discussion about how Cleveland is a city that would never tolerate losing.

It's amazing they can continue to do re-build after re-build up there, but we can't even do it once. Truly amazing. The level of incompetence for the past 30 years here is breathtaking.
