I'm just talking in general....6 people I know moved down there in the past 5 years..and it's just what I am hearing..one of them actually lowered his blood pressure just by moving..you hear that Simplex? ;)

By the way, if anyone is seriously considering a Central American retirement in the next 10 years Nicaragua is supposedly the next Costa Rica. You can buy in now for next to nothing (even when compared to Costa Rica) and reasonably expect it to grow into a tourist (read: American) friendly ecopark.

That's just it. I get that people move down there for the reduced cost of living, hell that's why *I'm* looking down there. What I don't get is why you would want to wind up right back where you are. I want to move somewhere and be THERE, not in mini-America with my mini-malls.
