There are very few X WRs left unless you like Ayomanor, we don't need more slots..

RB yea we need that.

Really?

with the fastest man in NFL history and Hollywood Brown, and Pacheco is sub 4.4 as well, but we're slow?

Ok.

Pacheco doesn't play like a 4.4 guy because of his vision.

It's not a slow offense.

It's just not.

this is nonsense.

You can want upgrades, without spouting bullshit.

RunKC 04-25-2025 08:31 PM

Rashee is most likely getting suspended and Hollywood Brown hasn’t been healthy for a full season since 2021.

Juju and Kelce are ****ing washed and have zero explosion left.

Rain Man 04-25-2025 08:32 PM

So we still have 95? Or was that part of the trade?

We were pretty slow in the run game this past year..It's mainly because people remember Kelce and Hunt and they're both basically out of juice.

Rain Man 04-25-2025 08:33 PM

Seeing a former NFL player in a wheelchair makes me worry that I'm going to age some day, too.

Rashee will miss AT MOST two games.

Kelce caught 97 balls last year.

Worthy is the fastest man in the NFL. CONFIRMED.

This draft was discussed as being very strong for DL, and for RB. Weak for WR.

sorry they couldn't arrange it better for you.

Rashee's case is nowhere near done. Hasn't even been formally charged. He's not getting suspended. Very unlikely this year. Breathe.

It's kinda weird how some don't understand what the WR room is even missing, they're missing an X not a speedy slot.

I mean...last years offense was super slow. It brings Rice back, but the difference in speed between our offense and the eagles defense was STARK.

I see his point here.

lol Pacheo... that dude sucks. Hollywood is always hurt, Rice coming off a serious injury and also he and Worthy could be suspended for some of the season and throw in that Kelce is retiring.

But let's draft another defensive player while the offense wilts away and hope Pat can do it all again.

Because Brown went down in the pre-season, Worthy was a rookie, and Rashee went down week 3.

A lot had to go wrong.

Sometimes shit happens.

THIS draft was deep on DL. We leaned into the strength of the draft.

RunKC 04-25-2025 08:37 PM

I will say this: this defense is gonna be ****ing nasty next year. 2023 defense is back.

Even though I don’t like passing on a WR, the corner we took was universally recognized as one of the better outside corners and has really good ball skills.

We will get a dynamic RB tomorrow I’m sure of that

Sassy Squatch 04-25-2025 08:38 PM

Veach was pretty open about the RB class being deep well into day 3. They're taking one tomorrow almost assuredly.

This was always a great draft for DL, and for RB, where I'm sure we'll see one before we're done here.

Royals, IMO.

But there's still time to add another WR who can help the overall depth and speed in the room.

We just need to avoid finding ourselves in a situation with Kelce and JJSS on the field at the same time. Shouldn't be a huge problem when healthy but I'd like to add a little depth still to avoid it.

Rain Man 04-25-2025 08:40 PM

Hollywood might make it thru the preseason this year, but his health is what it is

Offense should be better speed wise, don’t think it’s any kind of track meet

Hopefully they aren't absolutely ravaged at WR for a second straight year.

Not a fair comparison the eagles put together an Olympic track team on both sides of the ball. If anything needs an injection of speed it's our defense

Last year's offense with rookie Worthy, no Hollywood, and Rashee out? Sure, yeah. Juju and washed Hopkins weren't fast.

The Super Bowl was an O-line failure/Mahomes failure until the second half when-hey, looka that, Worthy just runs past guys that can't keep up with him.

More than you, apparently.

We had two sub 4.4 WR's in the Super Bowl. That's not slow personnel.

slow developing plays? Sure. Shit offensive line causing our QB to brain lock? Sure.

Drafting a WR instead of leaning into the strength of this draft doesn't change any of those things.

But you don't have to conjure one.

There are a half-dozen guys on the board in the 4.3/low 4.4s. Including the guy he wanted (Lane).

And hey, maybe Brown was still dinged up - but his legs shoulda been fine and he definitely wasn't moving the needle much.

I mean the biggest issue may have nothing to do with the WR room and everything to do with offensive design. We still ran through Kelce. And the guy is running in quicksand these days.

You could probably run an offense with the personnel we have that gets itself into open space better by just not running it through TK anymore. Because on paper there does appear to be enough speed there.

But in the field, I just have a hard time saying that it didnt look DAMN slow.
