I actually heard this on a couple podcasts, that the talk around the combine was that we weren't going to make any big moves this year, and were more targeting 2023.

Also I won't be surprised if we don't restructure Mahomes. I feel like we've been thinking of the restructure as free money, but we do have to pay it at some point. I think we should be careful of getting into a situation down the road where Mahomes has a top-of-market cap number but is actually making middle-of-market money.

The fact that JuJu hasn't signed with any other team leads me to believe that his agent and Veach are involved in a deal. He wants to be a chief and he fits our offense. Signing him makes too much sense.

JuJu at 25 fits what this team wants for that role, and considering we tried to sign him last offseason, it would make far more sense that he’s probably their top target for that 2nd WR spot.
