Ok, that finale was awesome.

Still can’t understand the need for basically an entire episode on croissant. What a waste. The finale was good though.

I liked the episode.
I can't really say why I like the story, but I'm here for it. I can't really point out what works for me, but I really like it. It all worked for me. It certainly isn't perfect, but it works for me. And I found the end tremendously satisfying. RE: Spies

And I did laugh at the mouse droid stuff, especially the one that lemminged his ass off the edge. Can't wait for the next season. I love this shit. |

I enjoyed the episode. Nicely done. There were a lot of really cool visual elements and some compelling dramatic moments along the way. It was a fun ride and I'm looking forward to the next season. I'd like them to move Grogu's force/combat powers along more quickly; his save was a really nice touch but at least get him a weapon or something.

Wasn't impressed with this season. Didn't like the ending. Too cutesy.

1. Gideon put motors in his suit, like Iron man. You could hear the motors whirring when he moved. That's why it was broken so easily. 2. I think it is an opportunity to rebuild Mandalor the way it should be, not the way it was. Everybody that's tried to lead by getting the Dark Sabre has ended in ruin for Mandalor. Let's do something else. I think that is the main takeaway. 3. Got this from a dork video, so take it for what it's worth. Dark Sabre has always been associated with war. Mandalorians need to focus on peace (see commentary in the underground garden where the native plants hadn't been able to grow since some civil war). Maybe Mando v2 focuses on using Beskar to make weapons of defense and growth rather than destruction and death. Also they talked about the Dark Sabre being ****ed up, at least compared to the Jedi sabres. Maybe breaking that piece of broken will help fix what is broken in the Mandalorian Society. I dunno, interesting shit to think about from a pretty basic (but awesome - **** off I was all about it) battle. |

Interesting and probably pretty poignant perspective on the Dark Saber. I mean...I just went with point 1 - dude was Iron Man. Point 3 was better. |

Ended better than it started, and the middle was really bad. Hope the next season is better overall.

Finally watched the last episode. Definitely a step in the right direction.
Going to kind of suck now that this and Picard are over. :sulk: |

Because damn - she fills out that weird uniform thing awfully well... I still don't think she's facially terribly attractive, but that figure is awfully nice... |

She does clean up nice, though. https://www.ecranlarge.com/media/cac...lle-991975.jpg |

And those hips were there at least back to Longmire. Watch that YouTube video of the spartan race training. That probably endeared her to me as much as anything her body ever did. |

My wife and I watched the Jack Black episode last night; first I want to say that I really enjoyed the Christopher Lloyd cameo, laughed when I saw him, but Lizzo is not an actress, and the whole episode came off as a new age Scooby Doo episode. All they were missing was if Christopher Lloyd was being dragged away by guards saying, "I would've gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you darned Mandalorians and Baby Yodas!" So many poor filler episodes this season, but I was really hoping that Lloyd would've said the word Gigiwatts during his robot explanations, something to tie it all in.
|
Well that was a season. Mostly sucked.
|
Just finished
Woof Maybe next season they’ll have Grogu strapped to a Wookies ammo belt like The Hangover baby and ****ing shit up |

I thought the Mandalorian was over, but Din and Grogu are going to show up in other series. Is there going to be a 4th season?

Three stages of reaction to the Jeremy Allan White news:
1. Awesome, he's going to be in Star Wars. They'll do cool stuff with him. 2. The Mandalorian? I mean, OK. He deserves his own vehicle, but OK. 3. As the voice of a Hutt? Seriously, WTF? |
