That just showed you how hittable Peavy was.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2014 08:00 PM

No matter how much he cruises, or what he wiggles in or out of, Lance should not bat again.

WHY DID THE GIANTS START DECIDING TO MISS AT 2 STRIKE PITCHES, HAROLD?!?

O.city 10-12-2014 08:00 PM

Only 2 runs off peavy is gonna bite us

O.city 10-12-2014 08:02 PM

I miss mccarver

We have a .635 OPS against Affeldt. That shit**** has always owned the Cardinals. It's infuriating.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2014 08:03 PM

Sinker low and away to Kung Fat here.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2014 08:04 PM

Un****ing real.

Excuse me swing from Kung Fat drops in for a double, because Giants.

I hate these mother****ers.

kcpasco 10-12-2014 08:04 PM

OMG defense is killing us.

O.city 10-12-2014 08:05 PM

That was shit luck

kcpasco 10-12-2014 08:05 PM

I really do not want to see Choate facing Belt.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2014 08:06 PM

The Giants must have a BABIP of 1.200 this series.

The guy ****ing threw the bat head at the ball and it dropped inside the line the length of a gnat's cock.

If this were a 41 game series, it would get straightened out, but luck beats skill in a short series, hence 2006 Cardinals and 2004 Cardinals.

ChiefsCountry 10-12-2014 08:07 PM

Any chance that Holliday could be converted to a first basemen?

GloryDayz 10-12-2014 08:08 PM

Well, that ain't good for the Cards..

BigRedChief 10-12-2014 08:08 PM

Whats with those lame ass fans behind home plate? Everyone is up and cheering and you are sitting on your ass.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2014 08:08 PM

Of course.

We will never beat this team. It doesn't matter what happens, they will always trip their way into some kind of bullshit victory.

BigRedChief 10-12-2014 08:10 PM

Hey Matheny, thats why you don't take the bat out of your hall of famer's hands to play for 1 run.

Holliday is in no way to be blamed for that.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2014 08:11 PM

Carpenter could have hit a grand slam in the 4th and the Giants would just string together eight duck snorts to tie it.

It doesn't matter what happens when we face these guys in the PS, you cannot beat a lucky team. It cannot ****ing be done.

No shit. He is an adventure in LF, but he did the best he could on that play. Pure batted ball luck.

That's ****ing a strike

O.city 10-12-2014 08:13 PM

Defense cost the Cards a run

That's what separates them from the Royals

Gordon would of made that play

The best defensive left fielder in the game catches that ball? You don't say

Meh the Cards have been blessed with luck in spades so much over the years can't complain about it coming to bite em.

Defense didn't cost the Cardinals a run. If that play was made, a run was saved. That wasn't a routine play at all.

GTFO with that bullshit.

Aoki takes Odysseyan routes to balls and has them fall into his glove at the last minute and you're lecturing other teams on OF defense.

Maybe we'll be able to string together some swinging bunts and broken bats for a Royals Rally.

It was never considered b/c of Craig and Adams. However, using it as a LHP platoon option would not be the worst idea in the future.

No, he's got 2 years left on his contract and his career is over.

Good news according to WAR we got out money back on the contract.

Cardinals fan complaining about postseason luck. How rich.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2014 08:22 PM

If he's not physically capable of running, he shouldn't be in the lineup. Bunting him there was stupid regardless. Just PH and then insert Cruz or Pierzynski.

Read the thread, dipshit. Not more than one page ago I was talking about luck and the 2006 team.

I haven't denied it at all, but there is a difference between a team getting hot and a team hitting duck snorts that drop in for extra bases, multiple RBIs, and having caught balls roll out of gloves after the ball has been snared.

True except this is the one team that has more of it then the Cards.

Why is pierzynski even on the roster?

If true, he was hurt back in that inning, its malpractice to keep him in the game. A ball player in the game who can't run? What if there is a passed ball? Pitch in the dirt? surely his movement is effected not just his ability to run.

O.city 10-12-2014 08:26 PM

I'm sure he didn't want to come out, but if you can't run, then, yeah.

To pinch hit.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2014 08:27 PM

Lucky is Jon Jay's AB in the 10th inning of Game 6 of the 2011 WS. Lucky is what the Tigers pitchers did when fielding balls.Lucky is what the Giants are doing here. Lucky is what Gordon did with the bases loaded in Game 1 of that series, what Sandoval just did, and what Ishikawa has done twice.

It's not what Freese did, nor is lucky what Hosmer or Moustakas have done in extra innings.

He doesn't, but I feel like Choate walks 13 batters per 9.

I agree with this. The Royals are hot. They are making things happen on the field. San Fran is not a hot team. They are just doing whatever it takes to win.

Except he can't now because dipshit won't use his backup catcher. That's why you leave Cruz on the bench. He is slightly better than aj defensively but light years worse offensively.

Doing whatever it takes to win has nothing to do with it. There isn't some kind of mind-melding that allows for you to will a ball fair or out of a defender's glove.

Or a lefty with terrible splits against lefties hitting a 3 run shot against the best lefty of our generation to win a postseason series. No luck at all. You know, since Kershaw didn't give up a HR to a lefty on his breaking ball the entire year. Nellie Cruz playing Chris Duncan defense in RF in game 6 of a WS. No luck.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-12-2014 08:31 PM

Tony Mother****ing Cruz, Ladies and Gents.

Did Adams execute on the pitch? He hit it on the barrel. That's a little different than shattering your bat and having a ball drop in the Bermuda Triangle on 3-2 2 outs.

Well, considering his lefty splits, you're idiot manager probably should've pinch hit for him there. Fortunately, you guys got lucky.

Probably less than 1% considering the pitcher and the pitchers splits against lefties.

Yeah, no luck. Cardinals rule. Woo!
