A lot of us worried that JJ was Dayton Jr. He's definitely a significant upgrade.

Canha's not a major deal, but he's a great piece to add to the puzzle and I'm confident Q will use him well.

Like you said it's spring training. Means absolute shit about shit.

I did see Brent Rooker tag Ragans for a double and next time up took a first-pitch slider out of the park. Miss that guy's 69 home runs over the last two seasons.

Really the only thing potentially holding us back from being a consistent team competing for the playoffs right now seems to be drafting/developing players. We have generally done well on the trade market, we opened up the pocket book for a star, our manager generally does the right things and seems well liked and money hasn't seemed to be an issue as of yet. If we could just get a more consistent stream of help from the minors we should be in a good position for the next 5-10 years with Witt as a cornerstone.

And a huge part of the team having any continued success is being able to develop some pitching. For years, this organization was a pitching developmental powerhouse, but for the past 30 years it's been mostly pretty bad. That has to change.

Vinny seems to be a broke dick.

BWillie and PB were also on the Bobby Witt ‘bust’ train 3 months into his 2023 season. He actually thought Vinnie would end up a better player for the Royals than Witt. 😂

He at least finally saw the light and came around. But it was pretty rough there for a while.

If Vinnie is legit hurt, we may be seeing Cags earlier this season than we thought . . . . . . 🤔

Just watching the video replay, it doesn't look serious. He walked off the field under his own power with barely a limp. Hopefully it's nothing more than "day to day". At any rate, he's got five days to rest and spend time in the trainer's room.

Didn’t even realize we picked him up. When did that happen?

Nevermind on Cags then. Cahna is a 1B/OF so I guess that answers the Vinnie question for now.

Heh.

I’m on the 25 post per page setting. Loads faster for me.

Should have hopped back to the previous page I suppose.
