Let me rephrase that, the right minded ass kicking Sheldon Richardson. Now, it could absolutely go sideways so the deal would have to work out for the Chiefs to get out of but if he's in ass kicker mode, he could really revamp the front 7. Same for Wilkerson but I think he's too far gone. |
Richardson and Jones would be super athletic for a 3-4 front so that would help.

Sheldon Richardson, amongst top 8 players likely to be franchised. Pete Carrol suggests they will do just that: https://seahawkswire.usatoday.com/20...-to-be-tagged/ If not, bidding likely to start at $12m per year https://247sports.com/nfl/seattle-se...led--115198430 ...Sounds like he might be out of reach : / |

Personally, I’m starting to believe that an offensive player would make the most noticeable difference. It’s true that the Defense has greater needs, but it seems that we’re going to pass on throwing big money at another star(ish) DB, and I’m not sure there’s any player available at LB or DL that would make a tremendous impact. Please convince me otherwise btw. The route to defensive recovery seems like it may be a longer road and will require several pieces. Value FA pickups and the draft may be our best plan for a defense with as many needs as ours.
On the other hand, Norwell would solidify our OL for several years to come, and there are several high quality #1/2 WRs available that would have the potential to elevate us to one or then top offenses in the league. Adding Robinson, or Landry, or Watkins etc... would be the most exciting FA addition we could make and strike fear in the rest of the AFC West, if not the entire league. All that said, my strongest preference would be for another star DB. |

I like how aggressive the Eagles were at WR this past offseason. They went out and signed Torrey Smith and Alshon Jeffrey to go along with Algholor. They weren’t satisfied with inconsistent weapons, and surrounded their young QB with veteran playmakers. Something KC should replicate. |

I don't see a T worth overpaying for. We're good at 1 and 2 at the C position. Hate all you want but Wilson is a solid slot guy and we only really need a no 2 WR on offense. Preferably a big bodied possession guy (which we've drafted for twice but no one has stepped up so far.) Our biggest needs are on D with a legit outside rusher opposite Houston and a legit replacement for DJ (and I don't see that on the FA market.) |
they definitely need a better d-lineman than whatever the heck they are throwing out there with Jones. Someone far better than Logan, Bailey, etc. the ones with that potential come with huge red flags (Sheldon Richardson, Mo Wilkerson)

Perhaps we spend a 2nd or 3rd on a DT. I could see a legit stud at OLB/Slot WR/or G being a much bigger improvement... |

Sheldon Richardson Allen Robinson Sammy Watkins Wilkerson will be a post June 1 cut. Not many teams will hold a lot of dollars that long on a chance at Wilkerson. I think we may be surprised where the money goes from the Chiefs perspective. NT, S, ILB along with G and slot receiver could all use new starters depending on what happens with our own free agents. I think quality defensive front 7 players will be hard to come by, and thus we will see a glut of defensive picks early. |
If/when Albert Wilson leaves and we want a new FA to replace him, I’d look at Bruce Ellington. More athletic version of Wilson who should be very cost effective

Seriously. FA LG, and pound the ball. Hunt and Ware. Think about what we could have done with that combo last season. |
