It was a bad pass dude. You have to throw that thing in there on more of a line. Wilson never had a chance to catch that pass realistically.

As-is, he catches it if the safety isn't there. Other than that it would have required a 100% on the dime pass on a deep ball where the highest completion percentage is 56% (which, by the way, is set by Alex Smith this season). On 4th down I'd want a more higher completion route... post or deep out--just get the damn the 1st down and not go for it all when there's double coverage.

One playoff win against Brian Hoyer in five years.

Golden era of Chiefs' football

Funny thing is conservative Alex going for a deep ball on 4th and 9. Pretty much screwed the pooch on 3rd down decision and again with the deep ball decision on 4th down. Throw to the first down sticks on 4th. Maybe he figured it would be too well-covered.

If the safety wasn't there.... yeah. But he was.

Put it on a line and the safety doesn't have time to hit him before he catches it.

why the crying over another poster who doesn't go along with you on every single point. Your a big boy who has his thoughts on everything and that's great. You do a great job but don't be so sensitive to others take on things, its just guys/gals taking and arguing about football.

This group think mentality is silly and childish at best. Not saying this about you but about the board in general. Everyone should feel free to say whatever they want in here without being called names, that's just petty and stupid.

I think they were trying to be clever and catch the defense off guard with the early snap. I'm sure they were also counting on getting at least one more possession when at that point they had 3 time outs and the 2-minute warning left. Too risky of a call on a low percentage throw in that situation IMO. Just hit the deep out.. and where the **** has the backshoulder pass been all year too? We used to hit that thing to Bowe and subsequently Maclin all the time.

I'm sure the premature snap by Fulton helped the play go as planned...

You're right. He should have.

Still, Alex shouldn't have to save this Franchise's every suck by playing the perfect game.

such a false narrative

he didnt have to be PERFECT you morons

he had to do better than 5/10 for 31 yards in the second half...maybe 1 more 1st down? one more drive? No, NOT PERFECT...just better

There is something in between PERFECT and AVERRAGE...ALex is average, we need GOOD ENOUGH

Against the titans he didnt play good enough. Period. A "good 1st half" doesnt mean shit.

How about just play better than Marcus Mariota? NO ONE IS ASKING FOR PERFECTION HERE

morons

RunKC 01-07-2018 02:07 PM

My god the 4th down was a complete abortion

<a href="https://imgflip.com/gif/22a69w"><img src="https://i.imgflip.com/22a69w.gif" title="made at imgflip.com"/></a>

Early snap, Alex is pressured because Schwartz guy comes through due to Schwartz not knowing the ball was snapped.

How is this not completely on Alex? The play is sent and the QB tells the offense in the huddle what the snap count is.

There was obviously confusion somewhere
