Genetic high tolerance for alcohol. I come from a very long line of accomplished alcoholics. I visited my brother recently and I kept having to hit up the rum and the tequila because my buzz kept wearing off. Oddly enough I did drink a little over a fifth of rum (92 proof) but I lost count of the tequila (Mmmm...Patron) shots. And that's after barely touching the stuff for months.

What sucks about that is you can get alcohol poisoning without realizing it. I've got a pretty good story about waking up tied to a hospital bed (with a catheter) the first time I went drinking after I got out of active duty Navy. I was stunned because I wasn't drinking any more than I typically did, I used to just stumble back to the ship when I'd had enough. The American cops don't appreciate people who are drunk in public at Noon in a nice residential area.

First drink in two weeks. Mixing and doing drums for a possible deal with CBS Sports. If this little boutique company gets this deal, we'll be doing music for college football, basketball and NFL highlights for the next year.

Getting the right drum fills suck, thus the drink. Tito's and soda with a twist of lime.

Thanks, Mon! I've had a lot of music on the NFL on Fox football broadcasts in the past 2 years, even more on NASCAR and in terms of sports, I've had hundreds of track uses for MLB, which has been one of my bigger clients. But while I'm not complaining, there's something special about football and basketball, in terms of music uses, because MLB has 162 games (x 30 teams!) versus the others.

But to do the highlight music for CBS would be super cool - actually, amazing, just from a personal perspective, since I love both NCAA basketball and of course, football, so much.

Thanks again!

With weed, those drum fills will magically appear.

How'd that go BTW?
