So is chili mac just macaroni mixed with chili? 'cause I've got some leftover chili in the fridge and some 'roni in the pantry.

Mix them, put them in a lasagna pan, bake at 350 for a while, cover it all with provolone, go with the broiler for a few, and Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Throw some seasoned bread crumbs on top too, and you've upgraded from single-wide to double-wide style dining!!!

Went with Panko so it would be classy.

It was alright. Nothing really awe inspiring or something that I immediately said that I would need to order it again in the future. Definitely better hot than cold though...unless you like cold bacon.

Thanks.

I made sweet sausage with red and orange peppers with onions. Had them on Martin's potato rolls with dijon mustard:drool:

Boiled the sausage for about 7-8 minutes then let cool. Sauteed sweet white onions in oil with minced garlic, oregano and basil. Added red and orange peppers and let simmer on low heat for 10-12 minutes. Took the sausage and split down the middle making sure the split was was up to prevent all the goodness from oozing out. Once the pepper and onion mix was done I put it in a bowl and covered. I then put the sausage face down in the pan and fried to a golden crust and then cooked on the back side for another minute.

They came out great. So simple but a little greasy on the cooktop.

Tonight was lamb chops with curried couscous. I won a convert to curried couscous with the dish.
