I hear starfish are washing up dead on the Cali coast, seals with tumors and nuclear waste is still being dumped in. Scarey!

Oh yeah. They get there clams fresh from Pismo. We drive an hour and a half for it. Well we do spend the day at the beach, but the highlight is the chowder lol.

Thanks. I told the guys to handle it early today and keep forgetting it's still early, especially with the time difference lol.

I cooked 4 country style bone-in pork chops tonight, first for 4 minutes on the stove to brown one side and then I flipped and tossed into a 400 degree oven.

They were moist and tasted great. :D

Only the food snobs would hate on frozen wings. I actually like then myself. Of course, they're better on the grill, but frozen will satisfy a hankerin' for some wings.

I butterflied some chicken breast, sautéed lightly, smothered with homemade pizza sauce and put a little provolone on top, finished in the oven for a light version of chicken parm. Garnished with some basil chiffonade. Turned out really well, actually.

It was alright. Nothing really awe inspiring or something that I immediately said that I would need to order it again in the future. Definitely better hot than cold though...unless you like cold bacon.

Told the gf I'd prefer fish or shrimp and salad for dinner tonight. Later tonight I shall see what deliciousness she concocts.

She shouldn't do all that cooking for you. Then there's no reason to ask her to marry you. :D

Get registered on here. I need to have a talk with her.

Hey now! We alternate cooking. Provided that we don't go out to dinner, on her days off (coinciding with days I work) she cooks. When she works weekends, I cook.
