The only believable scenario I can think of, given recent rumors, is that a TV exec walks in with staggeringly huge bags of money, dumps it on Nebraska's desk, and says "there's more where that came from if you dont go to the Big 10", and Nebraska says "Well... all right, then".

I'm not making a call on Neb to the big 10. Just relaying what I heard on the radio.

But if these talks of a huge PAC-10 / Big 12 TV deal is real and ND has decided it wants more time to decide then I can def see Neb not making any major announcement today.

That school has much more of a Pac 10 feel (a million titles in sports no one else plays....ala skiing)

Never a good fit scholastically either.

Boise State goes to the Mountain West.

UTEP should be in that conference.

Thats pretty good news, actually. MWC held off what, a week ago when it was thought that they might get some big 12 castoffs? This could mean they have decided that the big 12 will survive or that other BCS conferences will clean house before they get a chance.

if Nebraska doesn't announce a move to the B10 today, it's probably dead for now. and look for Texass and ND to join up.

in the end, if Texass leaves the B12, it will be for the B10. the Pac11ish makes no sense from a financial / power standpoint. none.

It's cool. I already called you a very smart individual in this thread, so it only makes sense we came to the same conclusion. :D

that does nothing to benefit the B12 from a negotiation standpoint when reworking the TV deal.

Virginia
Michigan
Cal-Berkeley
Colorado

Wait...LMAO. Colorado is fine...just like Kansas, Missouri, and a host of others.
