I feel almost like the shields trades is a waste. What is the point if we were just going to lose all the games. I head says though that Shields is pitching like a badass and there has to be some pressure put on yost and the hitters to get more runs.

There is a good shot we could be at the top of division by next weekend. Baseball is a sport where the knee jerk reactions are not necessary.

If I was Ned, I'd trot out this lineup tonight:

Lough (CF)
Cain (RF)
Gordon (LF)
Butler (DH)
Hosmer (1B)
Perez (C)
Escobar (SS)

Yes, even against a LHP I'd start Lough. That's how little I think of Francouer.

Well they sure are wasting his starts. The offense is bad but seem to be at their worst when Shields pitches.

Maybe Shields shouldn't give up home runs in the clutch every start /trolling

Our offense has absolutely pissed away our best pitcher on this staff. The fact that Hos and Moose are struggling just exacerbate this problem
